Re: The Chat Lounge

(((Oscar))), I'm so, so sorry.  This is going to be extra hard on you so soon after Winston.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Re: The Chat Lounge

Oh, this breaks my heart to hear this.  Praying for you both and hoping he has a good while yet to be pampered and spoiled.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

Re: The Chat Lounge

Wendy...Were you able to get your preferred spot?  How is the decision made?  Is it based on seniority or drawing numbers out of a hat?

Oscar...Good thoughts sent to you & Tank.

I picked up this book at the library called  the life-changing magic of tidying up by Marie Kondo.  Before I was even finished reading it, I am organizing my clothes in the closet and drawers, which I have been meaning to do for months now.  Interesting book and I have used some of the things she wrote, like folding my clothes to stand up in the drawer instead of laying them down flat.  I like how I can see it all at a glance.  Some far out stuff in there too, like anthropomorphism, but since I have read a lot of Feng Shui books too, which tells you even inanimate have energy, I didn't think it was too far out.  Who knows I might even greet my house when I come home like she does. I know I am happy to be home after a tough day.

Does anyone drink alkaline water?  I have been reading about all the health benefits it does for you so wondering if it is true.  Husband & I are going to make a batch tonight and start tomorrow drinking it.

Re: The Chat Lounge

I greet my house every time I come home!!! Wonder if that's because I'm a bit of a tidiness freak?!

Let us know how you get on with the alkaline water, Sun. I'm afraid I only drink coffee and red wine!
