Finally got my taxes done with a free online program that includes Schedule C and all that fancy stuff, and I'm supposed to be able to efile them, probably do that today or tomorrow. I don't really have enough to pay the self employment tax I owe, so I'll do what I've done the last couple of years, file now and pay in the summer when I have the money.
It's real crappy about hubby's job. He likes it but they led him to believe that after the after Xmas lull the work would start picking up in March. But it hasn't. He's only been getting 1 or 2 days a week, and only evenings. It's a banquet facility, though, so if they don't have a booking there is no work, not like a restaurant where they're open all day, every day even if it's not busy. I'll be leaving in a few weeks so it's not bad having the time together now, though. The carnival is opening a week later than normal so we won't have to play a spot we lost money in last year. I'll only be 150 miles away the first 2 weeks and the last 2 weeks of May I'll only be 100 miles away so maybe we can still visit a little. There's a few bad spots in the middle of summer I might be able to let the help work alone and I can come home for a mini vacation, and then the last week of August I'll be within a 100 miles again, so the season should fly by this year.

I am sorry to read about your sister Wendy, my condolences.
I am waiting until April 29th to pay my taxes. It's a bitter pill to swallow this year. So I can commiserate there. I always efile mine. Much easier.
Maybe hubby can find himself another part time job in conjunction or something different that is full time.
I just spoke to the vet, they have all his tests back. He does have a staph infection, so the antibiotics should clear that up. I am going to go get another week's worth and some cough medicine for him. Then we will do another chest x-ray to see what if anything this mass has done. I did push for her professional opinion and she is fairly certain he has lung cancer. The breed is prone but he is not quite 6. Although an ultrasound and biopsy would have to be done I think for a definite answer. That does have its own risks. So for now I'm going to wait until next week and the second chest xray to see what this mass has done if anything. I am trying not to go sit in a corner and cry.
I have been feeling like shit for a week. It's quite strange. Every day around 2 it's like I am totally non-functioning for 3-4 hours. My head feels full of cotton, I can't keep my eyes open but I'm not tired. I feel dizzy but not dizzy, hard to explain, but I am worried I might pass out. I was in the bank around 2:30 doing a pretty important wire transfer of $226K for the company and I was actually getting concerned I would totally bugger it up I felt so crappy when in walked ex, so I sat down and he took over. I was grateful for that. I feel like I just shut down. I don't know it might be stress between Tank, my dad (he has really gone downhill and mom has put him on the waiting list for a home), the insurance company and the huge amount of money I'm having to pay and will have to pay out this first 4 months of the year. Somehow I qualify for a subsidy on my electricity but everyone else has their hand in my pocket!

I'm sorry to hear about Tank but, yes, stay positive until you know more.
That sounds like stress to me, Oscar.

oscar -- I'm sorry about Tank possibly having cancer. As you said, see what the antibiotics do. You certainly have had a lot on your plate! It's no wonder you are exhibiting stress (I agree with FudgeChi). {{{oscar & tank}}}

Oscar...Hoping for the best for Tank. Odd about your own symptoms. Are you feeling better now? Do you think it is just stress or anxiety? Hope you feel better soon.
wendy...That's nice you'll be so close to home this season. Hope it is a good profitable one for you.

We switched Tank to a different antibiotic, added some cough syrup and some Tylenol for any pain. He's eating again so that's good and playing. I'll get him re xrayed in 10 days to see if the mass has shrunk. If so then it is most likely some sort of infection and the drugs should clear it up. Fingers crossed.
I felt better yesterday thanks, we'll see how today goes.

That sounds much better news for Tank. Paws and fingers crossed that it's just an infection.

Good news oscar -- for both you and Tank. Fins crossed the mass has shrunk on the next X ray.

Yeah, Tank, you got this, boy.
Your symptoms sounded a bit like hyper (or hypo, can't remember) glycemia when I looked them up. Are you off your regular eating schedule?.

Sorry to hear about you and Tank, oscar. Hoping the new antibiotic clears everything up. You may want to go to your doc and explain your symptoms. It may be what Wendy mentioned or a blockage somewhere that they could find by running a few tests. But like you said, all the stress you have been under could be the culprit. I know, all too well, how much stress can mess up your body; mine always related to not sleeping well, grinding my teeth and headaches. When it was really bad, I usually came down with something worse, bronchitis, etc.
