Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

Congrats Tirama!  Good for you.

FudgeChi -- I enjoyed both of the FORGOTTEN RIDDLES games.  Having to solve the riddles made it different and more interesting.

I've called CLUTTER V finished.  I love the sliders and pictures.  I wanted to finish the last slider and the 2 or 3 pictures I had left to do.  I worked on the last slider for an hour and only had less than 20% done.  They don't save progress.  The pictures were the different sized blocks and some were so small that I could just barely get the cursor in them.  I did 349/545.  Definitely got my money's worth!

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

I just tried Fantasy Quest 2 Platinum Edition.  M3.  Can't find a single thing about it that makes it Platinum, and I think in the title it called itself Collector.  It's very boring to me.  There's a time but I think it's only for points and stars, I think you get to play until you finish.  I thought it told me to press on a fairy to use a bomb but I never figured out who, what, or where this fairy was.  There were fairies bouncing around needing certain tiles to be matched, but there were so many I just ignored them except when I tried to use a bomb, couldn't press any of them.   Maybe I misunderstood something.  You can change between swap, group, and chain, maybe that's what makes it a CE.  Anyway, it's a pass from me, nothing like Imperial Island.... which I finished.  It has an endless mode if you just want to play, I just got the last upgrade,  a cannon that shoots 3 rows and I keep forgetting it does 3 now, so I'm kinda wasting it a lot.  I'm playing Panopticon: Path of Reflections off and on, Fudge liked it, and I like it alright, it's a HOPA.  Still playing Beyond: Light Advent on the desktop, so far it's been sort of chaptery, lol, easy to quit at these spots and then resume another day.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

I finished Nightmare Adventures: The Turning Thorn today. Wasn't keen on the story but there were lots and lots of good puzzles so I enjoyed it.

Well done on finishing Imperial Island, Wendy, I'm on a break from it for now. How many levels did it take you roughly?

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

There was another Nightmare Adventure that came out a few years ago.
I took a short survey for Legacy Games and got a code for a free game.  They had a Dr. Who bundle of 5 games so I got that.  I don't think they're available at BFG or GH.   Never watched a Dr. Who so I hope I like the games alright.  I should try to find out if it's streaming anywhere.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

I finished off Beyond the Invisible: Evening this morning and then Shadow Wolf Mysteries: Cursed Wedding PE. I'd played the SE of the latter and thought I may as well play the CE. I do wish it had had a map.

Wendy, where did you take that survey, went on Legacy but couldn't see one.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

Fudge...I am playing Beyond the Invisible: Evening right now on my desktop which has win7.  I first started it on my laptop which has win8.1 and it didn't work so well, so I didn't get too far with it. I like the game alright and I like the sepia tone of it.

I am also playing Haunted Legends: The Curse of Vox.  In the first 2 games they called the little guy a demon, but in the third one you find out he was once a man who has been cursed.  So which one is it  ERS  I am enjoying playing these games.

I bought that Dr. Who CD game that included 5 Dr. Who episodes at Walmart for 10 dollars.  Haven't tried them out yet.  Nice that you could get them free for doing a survey.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

I did that as well Wendy.  Fudge they sent me the survey.  I picked up 7 Roses A Darkness Rising.

Sun - I always assumed he was a little demon, maybe that was the curse.

I got a test game from BFG for the first time in a while.  I can say it was the worst thing I've played in a loooong time.  Real dated in every way.  I might have been happy with it 8 yrs ago.  Called Vengeance First Love.  I'd steer clear.  jmo.

I am exhausted.  I worked all weekend and I feel run off my feet. So a quick hello goodbye for now.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

I have finished:
Cadenza- The Kiss of Death CE. Very good!!! As always, lovely graphics and music .Good story.
Captivating. Fun puzzles.
Solitaire Club (card) ... Good when talking in the phone with my eldest daughter (this is always at least
50 minutes, always more than that...)
Hidden Clues (nonogram) Just Ok. Nothing special.

I demoed the new Cadenza, probably wait for the SE.

I also did the survey for Legacy, but haven't picked up anything yet. I still have one stamp on my card, but haven't bought from them for over a year!

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

Bonus Punch Monday.  I need one punch to fill a card.  I'd rather wait until next Monday, but then what if they don't have it?  Like that other time.
I didn't like Cadenza Kiss of Death,  I had it as a CE and wrote BFG and told them I felt like I wasted my money. they sent me a replacement code.
Have to go shovel some snow, we only have a few inches so far, they were predicting 6-10.  Hello, Spring.   It's alright, it's only the third real snow and it will start melting as soon as it stops snowing.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

I see about Legacy now, thanks ladies. I've signed up and maybe I'll get a survey too.

Finished Insane Cold: Back to the Ice Age today. Certainly nothing to write home about but I carried on and finished it.

Then I started Surface: The Soaring City PE.  I've played the SE before and it's one of my favourite of the Surface ones so it's nice to be able to play the CE.
