lily, glad to find out that you also graduated in '65 ~ that makes us a couple of "oldies but goodies". When all my BFF's from HS get together for our birthday dinners, we can't believe it's been that long. We don't act "old" but sometimes feel the years. I was blessed to have such a great class and living so close to my home town (45 miles) means that there are still a lot of us in this area to get together at parties and special events.
oscar, your pup looks cute and can't believe he is almost a year old. Love the rag quilt. My hairdresser has started doing a lot of quilting and is going to do one for me sometime this year. I use Photobucket and don't have many problems, occasionally a little hang up here and there but eventually works itself out.

I use PhotoBucket and also TinyPic but I have trouble with them sometimes , just like how sometimes I can unzip a file and sometimes I can't, lol. Is there an easy way to get photos from phone to here without having to put them into computer? I guess I need to look for a TinyPic app, lol.
Hubby left last night with male roommate for a short guy's road trip to help another buddy with something. His job is supposed to be getting busy again, and he thought he was supposed to be working Wednesday but the boss hasn't texted with his hours yet, but he's planning on getting home tonight or tomorrow. He needs to start working again because we've been arguing too much lately. He's the kind that likes to rant and rave, threaten to sue everybody about everything, nothing has ever happened that isn't a conspiracy of some sort, and the stupidest, untrue things just come out of his mouth. He can't remember the difference between Australia and Austria, Portugal and Puerto Rico, if two words have similar letters... he always goes on how he won't eat black angus meat because it's spelled like anus... he needs to be living a century ago. But if something really bad ever happens in this country where we have to depend on our wits, he'll see us through. This man is extremely street smart and I would trust him without reservation. Our cave would have running water and electricity and an awesome security system, lol.

Photobucket hangs on me all the time lately and is just a pain in the ass for me.
I zip my lip on your husband Wendy because I will most likely say something that will offend and he is after all your hubby and I respect that. My ex was just here and I must say no one can deflate my mood as quickly as he. sigh.
I think that we got all of this winter's snow at once overnight. It's up over top of my skidoo boots and boy is it gonna take a lot of work. Especially where the $%#&ing snow plow filled in my driveway. I'm having to remove in layers as it is so deep in spots. It was extremely windy so a lot of drifting. Probably 3 feet in some spots. Fortunately I don't have to go out until tomorrow afternoon for meals on wheels so I'll just pick away at it. It doesn't seem like anymore is expected. It would appear it was a snow day for the kids as well. Snow day for a lot of grown ups too. Yesterday bare lawns today bam!

I feel your pain about the snow plows filling in the bottom of the driveway oscar. It usually happens here right after a person has gotten their driveway all shoveled out.

I just spent an hour down at the bottom of the drive. Having to hack at it to loosen it up. It's up past my knees. I think I cleaned out about four feet by the width of my car. Between my shoulders is killing me. It is probably going to take me another 6 hours or so to clean out enough room to drive out. I am not going to try to plow thru. My car is low slung and I don't want to get stuck. It's too deep for that. It is quite surprising to me that my neighbour with the snow blower hasn't done it for me. Probably take him 20 mins. It's probably my exes fault when he came over he started making disparaging remarks as per about him of course loud enough for him to hear. And the remarks were about him not doing my drive! Such an ass. My neighbour on the other side who he also does this too when he sees him informed me that if he didn't reign it in he would be calling the cops. As you can see he makes friends everywhere he goes! They were all happy to see the backside of him.

Thank you Fudge, I have two of them. I imagine those two in your photo are yours? The one looks like he is trouble! lol The one in my pic I posted is the trouble one, plus he has no idea of personal space! lol this morning I wake up because he has come in and got in bed and just rested his head on my face, lol See this side of the bed with the sheet covering it? That's yours. He doesn't sleep with me my other guy does but I think he gets up around 6 or so and my pup thinks ooo my turn I think she should get up now.
Ah the exes. Exes for a reason, although I wish it was more like Lily's relationship with her ex which seems nice and friendly. Mine with him depends on his whims of the day.

Thankfully I no longer have to see my ex as he still lives on the Isle of Wight as far as I know.
Yes, those are my 2 Chihuahuas, both girls, Fudge (long haired one) and Snoozle. Fudge is a prima dona. They both sleep with me, tiny hot water bottles What is your other one called, is Oscar the one that's your avatar?

oscar -- I'm so sorry that you ex has alienated the neighbors so much that they won't help YOU out! That is a LOT of snow!
My relationship with my ex is pretty good. I wouldn't exactly call it nice and friendly. There's a reason he's an ex! I can take him in small doses. We do share interests and often do things together -- for short periods. Every once in a GREAT while we'll go on vacation together. A week really is as long as I can take.

Maybe we should ship them all off to the Isle of Wight, they'll probably get along like gangbusters, lol. Mine has plenty of complaints about me but they're all unfounded, naturally. One time after a fight I asked him why he had said something untrue about me, he hung his head and said, "That's all I got."
We only had real snow twice so far and it melted within a week. It's been in the 50s a few days, but going down to the 30s until next week. Be careful with that snow, don't need any heart attacks. It sucks these days, guys get in trouble for soliciting when they ask if you need your driveway shoveled. I watched a FB video of the snowplow guy laughing like a hyena as he buried people's cars with the snow.
I spent part of my day on FB playing Devil's Advocate with my relatives. They take their politics very seriously. They'd make a statement, I'd research it and point out that their statement was biased, part fact, part fiction. They don't like that. I'm not on either side, I agree with Dems about some things and Republicans about other things. My family is mainly in Iowa. Iowa is the first state to have a caucus, so the politicians spend a ton of money advertising there, months and months ahead of time. You have to live there to believe it, it's insane, there's hardly any other commercials on TV all that time, just political ads. Then the caucus is over and it's back to normal scheduled programming, lol. But it ends up creating a lot of political zealots. I hate politics. My current husband made me register to vote for the first time when I was almost 50, I voted that one time, then we moved and I never bothered to change my voter registration. I haven't really seen a politician in my lifetime that i thought was worth voting for and I think they're all crazy for wanting the job, lol. I think the founding fathers did a pretty good job with their system of checks and balances, whoever gets elected can't really do too much harm unless they have a majority in the House and Senate, and if they do, that means the vast majority of the country wants it that way. What are politics like in other countries?
