Anki, I had tried Imperial Island 3, maybe I even bought it, and today I just played some of it. The first time I tried it I only played for a few minutes and didn't notice the moving background. Now I've played to level 10 and I sure have noticed it now. Why would they do that? Totally unnecessary, and it won't cause one single person to buy it because of that feature but it will prevent people from buying because of that. Dumb, dumb, dumb. I'm actually stuck on level 10, there's another new feature, when you make a match next to certain blocks the whole board flips upside down, and once again, it makes me queasy when it flips. And I've also got my carts almost to the bottom and I flip the board by accident and now they're way at the top. I'm not anywhere close to being done when the time runs out.
ETA: I've gotten past level 10 finally, took about that many tries. I'm not noticing the board as much since there are sooo many things to concentrate on. Too many things, lol. I still hate it when the board flips upside down, though. You can only pick relaxed or timed, but this game should have an easy timed and a hard timed. I feel like I'm playing extra hard mode.

OMG, I 'm still playing Imperial Island and it's a killer. The level I'm on... it has blocks, sand, a bunch of blocks that turn the board upside down, something that makes a 9 block area turn back into sand, keys and boats to drop off the board, fill the ship with a certain icon, and collect 10 dynamites, which you get by matching 4, but that means you can't use the dynamite in the game. It's crazy.

Wendy, I found out about the removing "by mistake". I tried to redownload Twistingo and it was removed from my games. I contacted CS and she gave me a new credit for it. She told me it was taken away by the devs. I found it strange, because I could download a demo from Iwin with no problems.
I bought Maze :Subject 360 CE (even though I said I shouldn´t ) and when I started to play the SG was gone! There was only a blank page. I wrote to CS , but others with this problem only got canned replies with the usual game crashing... It's not the game, just the SG. I let you hear what they say.

Anki, if it's from BFG they'll probably just give you a CE coupon, that's what they've been doing lately if it's a problem with the game, even if it's SE. I imagine it's cheaper for them than to spend the time troubleshooting. There's probably a walkthrough for it on the site but they don't provide the link in the forums anymore. I really liked it, but I like that type. Reminded me of Dorian Grey and Urban Maze.

And that's the reason why I switched from GH to BF. I understand that a dev would sign a contract allowing GH to sell their games for a limited period of time, but why would GH agree to a contract where people who BUY a game only own it for a certain period of time?
You're lucky you got a credit. When GH and Real Arcade merged, all 3 of my Mystery Case Files games vanished along with other games. Then there were the ones that worked when I bought them from RA, but didn't work when downloaded from GH. No warning e-mail about the merge, hundreds of people complaining that CS wasn't answering their e-mails and sending the credits to replace the missing games. I just cut my losses and left. Didn't care about the credits, the game selection was better at BF ad I didn't have to use my credits in 60 days.

I see today's game is Hunt for Red Panda. Someone here has played that if I recall correctly, what was your opinion?
That's too bad Anki, I don't see it in BFG for sale either but I do own it and can dl it so it didn't disappear from them when purchased.

Tirama, it was like that for me too, when RA and GH merged, I lost Inspector Parker,BeTrapped , Mystic Inn and some other BF games, but I didn't bother, I bought them at BF instead. I left GH for BF in 2005.
I remember when I did the beta for Huntsville. I bought it (on the release day ) it was called CCI: Huntsville.
Oscar, I have played Hunt for Red Panda. It was barely OK. Very loong. You search for wrong things in paintings and you first have to find it with one tool, and then get another tool to remove it. I think there were over 25-30 wrong things in every painting! And you never knew how many were left But try the demo, you may like it

I'm still enjoying GH because it's saving me a FORTUNE! I can play the CE's now too, I could only mostly afford the SG's from BFG.
Today I've been playing The Treasures of Mystery Island: The Ghost Ship It suprised me by turning out to be an enjoyable game.

Well a fun pass or whatever they call it, is different from a game club membership. It's like going to the movies rather than buying the dvd. If you rarely replay games, but can play a certain number of games each month, then the fun pass is a bargain. But if there's a game you REALLY, REALLY want to own, unless it was developed by GH, it's probably safer to buy it from BF.

Yes, just like going to the movies! No wonder I like it, I barely own any DVD's!!!!! Yep, if it was a game I couldn't live without then I'd get it from BFG. My credits from GH I'll spend on nonogram types but hopefully on the Mac side because then I can just save the DMG and install or uninstall as much as I like. Bedtime...well...food time first.
