Thank goodness for the bonus punch yesterday.  Was hoping it would be Monday but when I saw the BOGO was still active, I was bummed that it wasn't there.  I had two PCC's expiring 2/21 and 2/22 so used them to get Spear of Destiny: The Final Journey and Imperial Island 3.  I loved the first Imperial Island until I got up into one of the higher levels and everything started going in slow motion.  I tried it again Monday and it still does it so guess I could uninstall/reinstall to see if that helps or just ask for a refund.  Didn't get the second one as I think there was an issue with the ending on that one, too.  Hopefully, this one will be OK and after reading stusue's review, knew I had to get it so was happy to be able to use one of my PCC's on it.

Valerie Porter and the Scarlet Scandal (1/21)  Thought it was ok for an older game, decent story, easy puzzles (B-)
Sable Maze: Sullivan River CE (1/23)  Loved it ~ Good game, lots of IHOS/great puzzles. (B+)
Sable Maze: Norwich Caves CE (1/27)  Good as 1st game, HOS different-find one item to use on another. Puzzles good. (B+)
MCF: Shadow Lake CE (1/31)  Loved it/others hated.  Enjoyed the game play but not so much the over-acting by Lea Thompson (A-)
Dark Tales: EAP's The Black Cat (2/07)  Good game, lots of HOS, good puzzles and B/F to locations.. (B)
Twisted Lands: Shadow Town (2/10)  Pretty good game, ending confusing.  Lots of B/F between various locations. (B)
Mystery Age: The Imperial Staff (2/15) Average game, story line ok.  FROG style game.  Decided to play this one first before 2nd one on my oldies list. (C)

Just started Mystery Age: The Dark Priests and game play seems a little more updated than 1st one.

Thx Sun, hmm same developer.  I quite like these games but it feels different.  And of course I skipped over Eternity. (I have it) Oh well I doubt it makes a difference.  No one has referred To a prior case although Mystery Trackers was mentioned.

I just finished Sable Maze: Forbidden Garden Collector's Edition.   It starts off like a Dream Day Wedding game and then turns into Otherworld.

Your fiancé Ryan, who's a dweeb, gets abducted and you have to save him.  Yeah, this plot has been done before, but , I have to hand it to the developers, they came up with a new motive for the kidnapping.

He's been snatched by Mab, Queen of the Fairies, as payback for your father jilting her.  That's right, your father is a fairy (maybe you should have guessed since your last name is 'Fay'  - a play on words with 'fey'?) who met your mother and decided he'd rather marry her and live in the human world.

Not only is Ryan now away with the fairies, but your mother has been turned into an ermine (your obligatory animal helper) and before long your father is also captured by Mab and her dark fairies (all the light fairies have been imprisoned).  So during the course of the game you have to free Ryan, free your father, free the good fairies, figure out how on change your mother back into her human form, but in the bonus chapter. only you, the child of two worlds, can put things right in fairyland and change the dark fairies to light fairies.

Before this game, I'd only played Norwich Caves (over 2 years ago), and for some reason I figured I'd be playing the same character as I did in that game.  Can't wait to see what happens in the next Sable Maze.
