Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

I'm only about halfway through the speech, that M3 looks pretty boring to me.  I didn't like Gummy Drop either and I've never tried Candy Crush.  I'll have to finish it up tomorrow.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

Just finished Phantasmat: The Endless Night All that series has a in my rating system.

Oh no, I have Surface: Reel Life to play yet! Mystery of Another World and Game of Gods are excellent.

Thanks for the GameHouse info. I've registered and going to keep looking in case they do a sale for the yearly thing before I've finished all my BFG games.

I'm going to play Dark Tales: EAP's The Mystery of Marie Roget now.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

I was just browsing the list of upcoming games on All About Casual Games.

In the Date Unavailable section, from which they don't always remove game that have already been released or which are never going to be released, is listed a Free to Play game called World of Nevertales.  The developer is Mad Head.

Have you received the quest from the Mayor to visit the Atrium and check on Leena?  Following that quest line triggers the Yura Festival quests.  But before you start the festival, be sure you've done the map quest series that unlock the Treasure Vault.

Thanks tirama, That helps out a lot.

I was just thinking a little while ago that Mad Head Games hasn't got into the Free to Play scene.

Wendy -- I found the speech interesting because he went over the various iterations of the game.  What they kept, what they changed, etc.  The M3 board itself DOES look kind of boring.

It thought it was interesting that he said there wasn't a growing market for HOPAs, and it was also interesting what he discovered that just didn't work.  Not surprised that he learned that people don't want to read, could have saved the company a lot of money by just reading the BF review threads.  And about the map, how it should only scroll in one direction.  I tried Gummy Drop and on the PC, which has a landscape view, the map IS a PITA and needs to be scrolled left, right, up, down.    But I bet that's not the case when you play on a phone or use your tablet in portrait view.

I finished everything in Dark Parables: Queen of Sands Collector's Edition except the replaying on the hidden object scenes to try and get the gold medals for the achievement.   I'll probably work on that today, as well as play my F2P games and start Dark Parables: Goldilocks and the Fallen Star Collector's Edition tomorrow.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

Finished main game of Dark Dimensions City of Ash.  Everything was pretty easy.  Used a few hints towards the end because the map doesn't show where things need to be done.  It was a pretty short game and lacking in plot, maybe the bonus game will help.  It was alright to play but glad I'm using Funpass and didn't pay for it.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

I remember not liking Dark Dimensions City of Ash but I do usually like that series. I am on Somber Song I believe but still have not gotten around to playing it. I seem to be the only one who liked Surface: the Pantheon although it did remind me of The Flying City but I liked that one a lot too. However the first 2 surfaces I did not care for especially the first one. Man was it long and tedious IMO. I also disliked Reel Life. It reminded me of Eipix's Final Cut series but not in a good way. I like to try to play series in order so I have the Gods one up next but haven't gotten to that one either.

I am really enjoying 12 Labours of Hercules-Mother Nature CE. Such a fun game and I finally figured out how to beat developers scores by reading in the forum. Apparently when you play on casual, you get a 3000 point handicap so there is no way you can ever beat the developers time but play it on Expert and you can do it easily. Well I have done it in 7 levels...I need 3 more levels to get that achievement.

I am also loving Lost in Reefs 2 but anytime I open it, I get stuck playing it for at least 2+ hours and I find myself up at 4am unable to tear myself away from it. Its just like Lost In Night but fish themed. I LOVE lost in night. It was such a magical game to me and I love the sound effects which can make or break a Match 3 in my opinion. There seem to be a lot of Match 3 games being released recently that are such a bore. Also, a lot of nonograms with terrible controls. I am impatiently waiting for another Fantasy Mosaics. I burn through those games. Easy to play while watching my crime docos. haha

I am still sucking at Elven Legend. I am about to just can this game. The mouse is too big and wonky. Its just not fun when its impossible to get the 3 stars, hey even 2 stars in each level. Not to mention if you don't do it in time, you have to start all over! BOO HISS!

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2016

Well I spent my gaming budget for the next four months today and took advantage of the buy with Royal Detective and bought every CE I had in my GM.  With the exchange they came to $5.76 each. (i got 15)
Plus I got the 7 free games.  I've really been having issues with my coupons of late not working. BFG has not been much help in that department either.  I know I have not used them yet they will not work.  I keep trying and then they miraculously work one day. Currently I have three, one that expires tomorrow that will not work.
