I checked back on that PlayOn record thing.  The monthly price has gone up a few dollars but they had the lifetime on sale for $49 so I went ahead and got it.  I started recording Downton Abbey.  Unfortunately it records in real time, so an hour for each episode.  It's gonna take like a week to record the series.
Hubby works again tomorrow, but Sundays are just brunch, so only a few hours.  I'm going to be sooo happy to have him out of the house again.
Roommate still driving me crazy.  She isn't working, doesn't do the dishes, cook, sweep, mop, clean, nothing.  All she does is watch the kid and then yell at her boyfriend to take care of him because "she does everything".  She makes him go buy fast food every night.  She gives the kid gallons of juice and snacks and then wonders every night why he won't eat dinner.  Of course after he doesn't eat dinner she offers him cookies or ice cream.  And a lot of the food she does offer him is messy, and he's only 2.  She gives him waffles and syrup, or French toast, or spaghetti-o's.  He still has a hard time with a fork and spoon.  He tries for a minute or two and then gets frustrated and quits eating.  And they give him huge portions, I think it's a bit overwhelming for him.  Hubby and I give him Pop Tarts, he loves those, no mess, easy to eat, not the best but at least they have vitamins and they're not any worse than a lot of stuff she gives him.  He'll always take some of our lunch meat, and comes back for more, and the cheese, too.  All his parents bring home is pizza, burgers, fries, and McNuggets.  I love that stuff, but it's every. single. day.

A belated Hi  and welcome FudgeChi.  I read this site at least once a day but don't post that often because I don't get that many games played.   I was doing fairly well until I got involved in 2 MMOGs.  After they went belly-up I got into a couple of F2P games.

I agree.  That poor little boy.

A lot of us were in the Castle at the very beginning, Tirama has a thread where she was giving everything away at one point.  Last spring I had just opened up enough new territory that it was taking me an hour to do all the Hos.  I travel for the summer and MC was on my desktop, not my laptop, so I had to leave it at home and I've just never gotten into it since I've been back.

I played MC a bit but never really got into it.  I dropped out before all the neat updates (at least that's what they sound like).  I won't try it again though.  I think I dodged a bullet of another time suck game. 

Has anybody heard from stusue?  She hasn't posted in almost a month.
