Thanks, all! My birthday was on Friday the 13th this year,
and went to dinner with a group of my forever friends from HS (there were 10 of us) and we treasure the fact that we are still kicking it and can get together.
Then, a little side trip to the casino that turned out lucky made it a great day. Birthday dinner with the sons and grandkids the day before made it special, as well.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7

I"m sorry, Tee, I never look and depend on someone else to notice birthdays. Thank God for Facebook, lol. Winning at the casino on Friday the 13th, wow. How lucky you are to have those friends, and such a large group, I moved to a different, much larger town at the start of high school, we lived outside of the city and I never managed to really make any friends there, certainly not any forever ones. Family, friends, winning at the casino...glad you had such fun, you deserve it.
No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.
