stusue! Welcome home! I was really surprised to see this post, since I didn't think you were leaving until the end of the month. As I read I understand why you're home early. What a nice friend. As Wendy said, take it easy and recuperate! And I second the comment about a HUGE temperature difference!

Woo hoo, glad you made it home safely!! Wow, that's hot and it's the kind of temps that make everyone suffer, to a degree. Wonderful that you have a nice friend that was able to help you out right away. Also, glad to see you got to play a game, judging from that awesome review you left in the other thread you posted in.

Happy dance! I finally have group benefits again. My $250 dentist bill today cost me $50. Plus, I don't need to worry about having my back brakes done for at least another 5k kms per Volvo. So a good news day.

I've never had any kind of health insurance in my life, must feel great. I need a tooth pulled but it hasn't been causing me any pain so I've been ignoring it.
I still don't have speakers that work for my desktop and I've been saving my good games to play on that once I get speakers. I want to buy them from a bricks and mortar store so I can return them if they don't work, but I actually have to go shopping to do that. Yuck. I just ordered some shoes from Crocs over the weekend. I got furry Crocs for around the house and taking the dogs out and I ordered a pair of furry lined duckboots. They cost more than I like to spend ($75 on sale) but I can use them as snow boots this winter and mud boots when I'm on the road.
Hubby starts his new job on Wednesday night, he's a dishwasher at a banquet/country club type place. He's going to get $10/hr to start and they give raises there. He's got almost 30 hrs his first week. Of course December is probably their busiest month with Christmas parties and such, but at least he's going to be working. I got my Christmas present, lol. He also went out for Black Friday and got a Roku, we like it better than the Chromecast because it has a remote. TMobile is letting us stream Netflix and Hulu without counting it against our data and they just announce they're giving all their customers unlimited data from Dec. 1st until March 1st so I'll be able to download all the games that I want in a few days. I should spend some time cleaning up my laptop and getting rid of all the games I've played that I didn't enjoy and have no intention of playing again.

Finally ordered a mattress. We had a full size air mattress hubby was sleeping on and I brought the mattress from my van, which came from an RV sleeper sofa. We had mine on top of his but he kept getting mad that I was hogging the bed, even though I hugged my edge all night long. Finally I told him I wasn't sleeping with him anymore and I separated the mattresses. He was mad at first but now he likes it. I ended up with the air mattress and I hate it, I find it very uncomfortable to sleep on and it makes noise every time I roll over, which is a lot because it's so uncomfortable. So I ordered a twin online for $99 and I'm getting back $3 from Ebates and $11 in store money and it's free shipping. Then when I leave in the spring he'll have something decent to sleep on. This mattress had 13 reviews and every single one was 5 stars. Now all I need is desktop speakers. It doesn't take a whole lot to make me happy, lol.

Hubby had his first night as dishwasher and seemed to like it alright. He had yesterday off but today he's working 11-11. There's a new guy starting so he's already got seniority, lol. It's like a country club type place that has banquet rooms. They told him sometimes the people who book the event will give the staff tips, and that he got a $20 tip already. He brought home some pasta and meatballs, it was horrible tasting stuff. The roll was really good, though. What they didn't tell him about the job, though, is that they pretty much close in January and February cause there isn't enough business. If you work there regular you can get unemployment but since he'll only be there a month I doubt he can get it. But at least he's out there working now

Sad today Heard Scott Weiland from Stone Temple Pilots died in his sleep. Another group from the 90's that I adored. What a beautiful voice and he died so young at 48.
This song will just make you weep it is so beautiful.
