Re: Whatcha watching on TV?

I'm doing the reverse and have Z Nation stockpiled.

Re TWD I wasn't sure that's why I kept it all cryptic. I'll be here for you when you do watch them.

Re: Whatcha watching on TV?

PS imo it's going to be hard to marathon.  It is an exhausting roller coaster so far.  Please please please watch it this weekend?

Re: Whatcha watching on TV?

Oscar,  I am sooo mad!    While driving and listening to the radio, the DJ blurted out something about TWD.  He said

that Glenn got shot and is he going to live or not

  Grrr.

Re: Whatcha watching on TV?

Whew,  that's a relief.  Still haven't seen any episodes yet.  Weekend was super busy with working, Halloween, football party and granddaughter's 3rd birthday.  Needed Monday just to recover.

Re: Whatcha watching on TV?

I had a huge belly laugh at Z Nation with the fire extinguisher.  So absurdly funny. This show gives you some good giggles. Oh and Doc as his soul was rising to the ceiling, look at that get that pointy thing lol.  That's the ep I left off at for now,

Anyone watching the Good Wife?  It has been really good this season.  And Jeffrey Dean Morgan! Damn, he can smile at me like that any ole time!  They manage to keep this show fresh each season imo.

Re: Whatcha watching on TV?

My BFF is always asking me if I watch The Good Wife and she always says "You're not, oh it's so good!"
I think when it first started, I was still working and if I remember, it was on Sunday nights and by 9:00, I was always fighting to stay awake.  Will probably catch it from the beginning if it is on Netflix.  Same thing with The Walking Dead ~ everyone seems to go ga ga over it and I'm not really into zombies, vampires, etc. but my curiosity is up so will try to catch that one from the start, too.

Re: Whatcha watching on TV?

The Good Wife - Definitely worth a look Tee.  My cousin watched all seasons over the summer on Netflix (I think) and loved it.

TWD - well yup I can't gush enough about it!  I really love this show and repeatedly watch it.  Yes it can be pretty gory but story wise, character wise it is stellar. The makeup effects are pretty phenomenal.

Ha!  That was funny and Doc seeing that pointy thing as he is rising up was another lol moment.   I'm caught up to the alien episode.

Already to start watching TWD now.  Seen the last episode of Fear the Walking Dead and watched the Talking Dead show about it.

Re: Whatcha watching on TV?

I signed up for the free trial of Amazon Prime because hubby's cigarette rolling machine broke and you get free 2 day shipping, and also Prime Video.  So I just watched the first episode of Downton Abbey.  I have to say I liked it, even though that sort of thing isn't normally my cup of tea.  I've found a service that will record Netflix, Hulu, etc. onto your PC, flashdrive, external, etc.  That way I can record several series and will be able to watch them on the road while traveling.  It costs $5/mo, $30/yr, or $60 lifetime.  I think it's a fantastic service for the situation I'm in so I would like to get the lifetime but that's actually kind of silly because I can record everything I need in one month so why spend the extra money?  But they deserve it, lol.  So I'll have to dig out my external hard drive and do it pretty soon, while I still have Amazon Prime and can get Downton.  I figure I can record most stuff to the external and then just transfer it to my PC as I need it.  I actually prefer watching on my tablet but that would involve SD cards, still doable but not quite as easy as just hooking up the external.  I would also want to record The Walking Dead and Last Man on Earth.  Are there any other good series out there?  I usually just watch half hour sitcoms.  I haven't really watched much TV in the last 10 years, and most of that was American Idol.  I don't normally watch political stuff, isn't that what The Good Wife is about?   Isn't Z Nation zombies?  I don't usually do zombies but I've watched the first episode of TWD and thought it was really good.  I like American Horror Story, too, the acting is top notch.
I also need to redo my BFG games, the ones on the external are from my old computer so I can't even play them, to the best of my knowledge it will only work with the computer it was downloaded through.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.
