Thanks

I have been playing up my partial played games and finishing them.  Finished  Bridge to Another World: Burnt Dreams...Very long and good.  Now working on Final Cut: Death on the Silver Screen.  Long, ambitious game.  Lots of different scenes and place to visit.

Stusue, I love that feeling of beating a really hard level on a timed M3.  I remember it took at least a week to beat the 6 level on Hidden Wonders, you had so many lives, if you lost them all you had to start over at 6-1.  I'm using hubby's phone for internet so I can't download games right now, otherwise I'd get the one you're talking about, except I don't like hexagons, but I'm getting better cause Gunspell is that way.

.
Wendy, I got stuck on the next level and worked out that I'd never be able to finish it as one whole section that stuck out was stuck and none of the butterflies would move.  So I checked BFG's forums and kicked myself for not having checked it when I'd been having such trouble with Level 6-8.

One of the helpful fishies had explained how to cheat on the levels.  Not really cheating but that if you made 2 matches really quickly, ie. you made the second one before the butterflies had settled down from the first match, a huge kaleidoscope of butterflies (isn't that a very apropos name for a group of butterflies?) flies up, swarms around, then flies off, being replaced by other butterflies.  With so many butterflies being released you get a whole heap of manna, in one level I only needed one lot of 2 matches and it was filled!

However, that takes away from the fun of making matches and trying to clear the blue (then light blue then green) hexagons.  So then I'd do the 2-match trick until I'd filled the manna bar about 75%, then just make the usual matches from then on, and then had lots of fun trying to clear all the hexagons.  That works for me.

I've just finished Section 7 and my update was swans on the lake (after each section of 10 levels you get to help the little fairy rebuild her destroyed house and its surrounds - after Section 6 I got a whole heap of flowers along the bottom of the screen, on this side of the lake).  After the swans were there, swimming around, the little fairy said that she loved her swans and then said, "I'm the happiest fairy now".  So cute.

Dropping all other games to play MCF: Key to Ravenhearst.  Had 2 credits that I have been hoarding.  So I can start today.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2015

Let us know what you think.  Funny I didn't even think about the new one until one of stusue'a up and coming posts.  Gone are the days of endless threads of speculations at bfg.

I have been playing Grimville which has been a nice change of pace.  With the exception of one complaint (a jump map would have been great) I'm enjoying it.  Little puzzles, ho scenes and townsfolk to talk to.  The artwork is wonderful, dreary but befitting the countryside terrorized by a werewolf! Who I kindly freed only to have him turn and eat some more people.  Oops.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2015

I don't think BF regards the release of the latest MCF as the event of the year any more.  Their focus is on games for mobile devices.  Big Fish Casino and Gummy Drop are their money games now.

I haven't played a MCF since Escape from Ravenhearst.  Between the grossness of that game and the antics involved with the release of the next one, Shadow Lake (frequent SE BOGO's or half price sales, SE's for 2.99, but CE players wait months for a sale only to discover that they need to pay full price for a mediocre game in order to buy CE's for half price),  MCF no longer seemed special.

I still haven't purchased Shadow Lake, own the ones after it, but haven't played hem because I'm not sure if Shadow Lake is necessary to the overall story arc.

There's also a soft release today:  Halloween Patchworks: Trick orTreat!    I wish this had been released yesterday, I would have used a pcc to get it.

oscar -- What is the complete title of Grimville?  It sounds like something I'd like to play.  Lord knows I probably already have it!

Lily, I imagine Oscar's playing Grimville: The Gift of Darkness.
