Thx for all the info Stusue it will help with planning as I do have a couple of games I want to get.

Yes, thank you.  It really helps to know what the Catch of the Week will be, too.

Still playing Gunspell but I've maxed out my experience.  I just acquired a few items that feed each other so the fights are much easier.  I went to the game's FB site.  It was originally a FTP but they tweaked it into a regular game.  I guess it ends with a reference to Episode 2, what I gathered from the FB page is that Episode 2 is included, after you finish the game it should show up in your profile.  Nobody in the BFG forum has reported that as happening, though.

Did a few chapters of Enchantia Wrath of the Phoenix Queen.  It's a Blue Tea FROG with pretty objects, reminiscent of their first few games.  The last few games seemed like all you were finding were badges and tokens.   I quit for the evening right before I had to make a choice whether to help the horse tribe or the wolf tribe.  I think I will help the wolf tribe, they were on the land first and allowed the horse people to settle there.

While perusing my GM I finally got to the bottom of my list and out popped the Vampire Legends games, True Story of Kisilova and the Elizabeth Bathory one.  I've been waiting until Halloween to play them, can't believe I forgot about them.  So it's those two, my Campfire Legends games, hopefully a replay of True Fear, maybe a replay of the one set on Halloween, I can never remember the name of it, it was okay.  If I have time I might do the last couple of Shivers or maybe Haunted Hotel series.  I think that's being awfully ambitious for the month of October.  I'm working on Gizmos already, I do 2 or 3 boards before bed every night.  I never get the star for time, I like to work that kind of game slow, no way I'll even attempt to beat the timer.  I also have Haunted Domains if I'm in a TM Halloween mood.  I hated Evil Pumpkin, I never knew what I was supposed to be doing, so that one's a pass.  I just have to get done with Enchantia so I can get going on my list.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

teeitup...I was wondering about the update to windows 10 and how it would affect my games.  I got lots of oldie ones too and I still like playing them.  I didn't do the upgrade and I really like windows 7.  I just wish that they make these upgrades further apart than they are now.

, I'm sorry you're working your butt off doing 2 jobs!  I hope you get used to it soon, too!

Thanks stusue    It's tough that's for sure.  Hard to fit in some gaming time in.  The most I am doing right now is playing a few rounds of Clutter V.

I would like to do The Happy Hereafter for Halloween and maybe that one with the adorable scarecrow helper (if I can remember the name of the game).  I think I did all the scary games that I already have. I need to take a closer look.   I am planning on replaying True Fear when the second one finally comes out.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2015

I think it was League of Light Wicked Harvest. (With the scarecrow)

I too picked up a small pt job to supplement. I tell you I can not get an interview for the life of me, I hate this system of emailing or applying thru on line links.  No face time.  So the first job that offered I thought sure I'll give it a go. Once a week.  Let me preface by saying I shattered my ankle 10 years ago this winter and it has been a permit disability for me.  Two surgeries, significant nerve damage and arthritis.  Needless to say standing or walking for any length of time is a feat and a painful one.  This is why my pt retail went on the wayside but I keep thinking oh I'll just try, I need to do something!  This was putting together and delivering papers.  It was back breaking. First day I walked 9 miles and delivered 250 plus it was Sears catalogue delivery day and hot as hades.  I knew it wasn't for me and told them so.  But they called me back the following week if I wanted to try a smaller route with the papers put together already.  154 and 6 miles.  Less back breaking but still I'm just doing more damage to an already damaged appendage.  I'm going to have to stick to the desk jobs that's for sure. I try to walk 4-5 miles a day but it's not all at once! this toting heavy papers and bending and the strain in the knees back etc. Argh it sucks.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2015

For all those who are working out which Halloween games they're gonna play, I know of a sequel that's due out soon at GH but BFG has the first one so I'm sure they'll be getting the second one, too.

Halloween - Trick or Treat 2

I haven't played the first one as I don't like straight HOGs but maybe some of you liked the first one?

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2015

I enjoyed Sable Maze 12 Fears.  While not terrible difficult it had some interesting puzzles, different.  I started Questerium last night and it is a SE with CE attributes and so far is quite a bit of fun.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2015

I'm sorry for all of you who are slogging it out at second jobs!

For the last 2 days I've spent 5.5 hours each day working on a uni assignment with the daughter of friends of mine.  That's bad enough as my brain just can't handle it.  But add to that that it's been in the mid-30s C (so close to 100F I can feel the furnace) with not a breath of wind for the past few days (and again today) that it's been super hard (as the heat affects my health, hence I live in northern Germany - but I never get sick and tired of the cold and snow, unless it's like this past winter when we missed out on spring so we had 9 straight months of nothing but grey skies and rain with the occasional snow flurry - now that was hard!).

But at least my friends bring a yummy lunch when they drop off their daughter and we can catch up first!

And their daughter's so sweet and finding uni really difficult.

OMG, that is my granddaughter's favorite game. I looked and I got it 10/31/12 so she's probably been playing it at least 2 years now and she turned 9 today.  It's helped her read the words and she is super quick on finding items but loved to ask me, "hint, hint?" and I tell her not yet.  She will be thrilled to have a new one.  I think I picked up one that was supposed to have the kids grown up a little, but it seemed like it was timed and much more difficult, even for me.

Just finished Strange Cases: The Lighthouse Mystery ugh, glad it's over.  Puzzles were good but there was just something that didn't grab me.  Maybe because I wanted to get started playing True Fear: Forsaken Souls CE, which I plan to do after I watch Dancing with The Stars tonight.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2015

I updated Eipix in the developers list of game...page 1 post 5 for the 50% off sale.

Thanks oscar...Yes, that was the name of the game.    Yikes, your second job sounds rough on the body.

stusue...That's nice that you're helping out the daughter of friends of yours.

teeitup...Hope your granddaughter doesn't have too long of a wait for BFG to get the new Halloween game.   Also, enjoy  playing True Fear.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2015

Tirama, I picked up Midnight Calling Anabel today.

I have been playing Questerium Sinister Trinity and I have to say it has some very unique puzzles.  Some very interesting ones that are an expansion on the usual, twists on the norm or for me fresh and new.

Sun I had to pack it in.  I made very little money and most of it would have been spent at the chiropractor!
I think perhaps next year I should not buy any games and get the ones I have played.  That will save me some dosh.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2015

oscar - I'm going to start playing Anabel tonight.  I want to get Fantasy Mosaics 10 on the next bonus punch day, but I told myself I have to finish a CE before I can play it.

You can always come over to the dark side and start a free to play game.  They're very good for the budget.

I know I won't finish many games this month.  I had to restart ART thanks to a building disappearing, and MC just had an update filled with new achievements and that game will be having a Halloween event.
