Tirama will be happy, Anabel is here. So far the first comments are how people don't want to buy it because of glitches in MC. Apparently those people haven't played ART, lol. And a FTP is entirely different than a HOPA, I don't really care for Elephant Games HOPAs but I haven't had any glitches with them.
I think the ones you're talking about are angry because Elephant Games spent time producing a game that they've have to pay for rather than give the game they are playing free a 'proper' update, meaning they are on level 65 and want new quests NOW.
I'm waiting for a bonus punch day.

Working 2 jobs is really kicking my behind. I hope I get used to it soon enough. My 3rd job aka housework is really getting pushed back.
teeitup...I was wondering about the update to windows 10 and how it would affect my games. I got lots of oldie ones too and I still like playing them. I didn't do the upgrade and I really like windows 7. I just wish that they make these upgrades further apart than they are now.
I finished Abandonded: Chestnut Lodge Asylum. It is the second time I played it and it still seemed very tough. It is a SE, but comes with a guide and I looked at that guide quite a bit to get through the game. Second time through I understood the story better than the first time I played it. Picked up on some things that past me by the first time.

I finished the main game of Danse Macabre: Thin Ice. I want to finish the bonus material today.
The Pirate Day event in ART starts at 1:00 AM Saturday. We don't know yet how long it will last. I'll probably be concentrating on that and play Magic Griddlers 2 when I need a break from it.

The Pirate Day event is horrible.
But tday is a bonus punch day so I'm going to complete my punch card and get the Midnight Calling CE and Clutter V.

I keep forgetting about Pirate's Day, thanks for the reminder, TiramaSue. I got Midnight Castle Annabel downloaded...very slowly... and just played a little bit of it. It's a must have for me. Since I don't buy anything in the game it's also a way for me to give to the devs. In my main game I had recently opened the subway, the city area with the dwarves? with an air boat and a camp area behind it. I think my level is upper 30s/ lower 40s somewhere. I'm wondering if I should wait until I get farther in the FTP before I play the regular game or should I play the regular game as soon as I get the chance? I will be waiting for the SE. I think it's a great idea for them to make this game, I really enjoyed replaying Awakenings and seeing all those things/places/people again. And this way it's the other way around and a great way to introduce people from one genre to another. I wish some other company would put out another Awakenings to end the series.
I have a GameHouse coupon to use in the next few weeks, then that will fill a card so I will have another one. So far I'm thinking Hero of the Kingdom or Lost Island Eternal Storm. Anybody try them? They have the Mosaic games, too, so if nothing else appeals I can always get one of them. Now I'm wondering if I already got Hero, I know I bought something, I'll have to go check, lol

Pirate Day has been a fiasco. The event is so buggy, I'll be surprised if anybody gets all three achievements.
And today, pirate Antonio gave us 7 quests, and when each one was finished, rewarded us with a sexually suggestive comment. I feel dirty after playing the game today.

I finished I know a Tale, but I don't know why, lol. It was so bad in parts that it was funny. Lots of times I had no idea what I should be doing and the hint was no help. Like towards the end the diary told me I needed to take something to the collector but it was the girl who needed it in a totally different area. The translations were so bad that they were hilarious, that's pretty much why I kept playing, just to see what they would butcher next. I only have a month left on my Funpass, I will let it lapse when it expires, I have so many games to play. I figure I will probably get it every other year. Off to find another to play.

Just finished Brink of Conciousness: Dorian Gray Syndrome CE, and all I can say, is wow, what a game. I noticed on BFG someone had a list of the 75 locations visited in the game and I loved every one of them. Hated the ending, though. I thought the puzzles were exceptional, and the last Zodiac puzzle was a doozy; finally had to look at a clip on You-Tube to be sure I was doing it right. The story was gruesome but the gameplay was great.
Games I've finished since I last posted a list:
Laruaville (8/22)
Maze: Subject 360 CE (8/23)
Flux Family Secrets: The Rabbit Hole (8/29)
The Mystery of the Crystal Portal (9/2)
The Mystery of the Crystal Portal: Beyond the Horizon (9/4)
Lost Souls: Timeless Fables CE (9/11)
Shop-n-Spree (9/14)
Vampireville (9/15)

I know there were over 60 rooms in the main game. I really liked the main game but I didn't care for the bonus chapter at all.
I just downloaded over 300mbs of a game by accident. I was trying to save on my prepaid internet this month, so that's not too cool.
ETA:
The game was 12 Labors of Hercules IV Mother Nature Platinum Edition, so I decided to see if it would let me buy it, and it let me have it with the reward coupon I got for filling a Gamehouse card, so that is cool.
