Re: Finish your games challenge - 2015

Well I bought 6 games in this weekend sale.  It doesn't appear to be a BPM so I'll hold off and see what comes during the week, I have  a couple of expiring PCCs.

Currently playing Off the Record Liberty Stone CE.

Happy Labour Day to all, last long weekend of the summer and it is too stinking hot to be outside!  What a crap complainant but it is 31C today and humid as all get out. So as much as I would like to be sitting on my deck reading I'm actually sitting in my office working. (well after I write this) The whole weekend has been in the 30s. I will of course in a couple of months be bitching it is too cold.  But I do love the fall.

3 day weekend filled with thunderstorms for me.

I just finished the main game of  Danse Macabre: Crimson Cabaret Collector's Edition.  Hope to play bonus chapter and all the extras tomorrow.

I have a pc that expires Sep 18.  Hope we get a bonus punch day before then, though I don't know what I'll do to fill a card.  Didn't get anything this sale.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2015

I don't get here as much as I like anymore.  I started working 2 jobs and boy, it is really tough.  I worked 12 hours on Saturday and 6 hours on Sunday and 8 hours on Monday so I didn't get anything in the sale.

I do squeeze in time to play and finished  9 clues: The Secret of Serpent Creek and started 9 Clues: The Ward.  The Secret of Serpent Creek was pretty good, but The Ward is excellent good.

Nice reviews stusue  and Happy Birthday.  I made a thread for you.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2015

Long hot weekend filled with work and money.  Had to climb a steep  hill to get to work, panting by the time you get to the top.  It's always pissed me off that I have to work on Labor Day.  Isn't the idea of the holiday that people get the day off work?
I wanted to partake in the sale, just because it's a sale, but decided to hold off since I can't download anything and I'm still obsessed with Gunspell.  Besides, I haven't really paid much attention to the new games coming out so I wouldn't know what to get.  But that's never stopped a woman, has it?

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Its BPT!

I have 3 coupons to use expiring Sunday so that will give me half a card as well. One more pcc for the end of the month.  I might as well use it now if I see something.  Off to browse then off to work.  I have a WSIB audit down at the yard tomorrow.  I need to double check I have all my prep work for him done.  Sounds like it will be a lonnnnnggg day.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2015

So these were my purchases this weekend and today.  I used up my coupon codes for October as well.  And cleaned out my demo list changing CEs to SEs in some case.  I have a lot sitting there.

78. Reflections of Life Equitibrium CE (2 for 1 GCC)
79. Beyond Light Advent CE
80. Mystery Tales Alaskan Wild CE
81. Dark Realm Princess of Ice CE
82.Whispered Secrets Golden Silence CE
83. Hidden Expedition Dawn of Prosperity CE
84. Vampire Legends The Untold Story of Elizabeth Bathory (PCC)
85. Invasion Lost in Time (PCC)
86. Mystery Castle The Mirror's Secrete (PCC)
87. Warlock The Curse of the Shaman (PCC)
88. Where Angels Cry Tears of the Fallen CE (60% off)
89. Journey Heart of Gaia (PCC)
90. Mystery of Sargasso Sea (PCC)

Now I need to get two more punches to fill my card.  So four more PCCs with these.  The 60% off got me that CE for 5.29.  Better than a bogo!

I have finished Where Angels Cry- Tears of The Fallen CE. I loved it!!! I couldn´t stop playing it.
I liked everything: the graphics, the music, the hero VO  , the puzzles and so on...
In fact I loved the music,I played with headphones, marvellous! It's definately in my Top 5.

So, Anki, tell us what you really think!      You seem to have liked it but I'm not really sure.

And you and the hero's VO ... shame on you!

Seriously, I almost got this in the BOGOF yesterday but I wasn't sure about the bonus chapter and whether you collected the doves for anything other than an achievement.  When I last checked at BFG no one had commented on the bonus chapter and the developer had even asked what people thought about it because no one had said anything.  I also wasn't sure if the HOPs had any more interaction or the minigames got any harder later in the game.

I know what the bonus chapter is about but is it good ... and is it long?  I will definitely get the SE but if the bonus chapter's a good one ... and nice and long ... I'd think about getting the CE.

I really liked the gameplay but I can't play it on my laptop ... but I can play it on Mum's.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2015

I finished Danse Macabre: Crimson Cabaret Collector's Edition.  Next up: Danse Macabre: Deadly Deception Collector's Edition.

Used a PCC yesterday and got Magic Griddlers 2.  Looked at my list of games played and noticed I haven't played a nonogram since April 20!

Tirama
, I'm currently playing Fantasy Mosaics 10 - Time Travel although, apart from one dinosaur, they all just seem to be normal things like animals.

I love the Fantasy Mosaics griddles as I love the 3 colours.  I normally find them too easy (although I admit I play in Casual Mode as I love having the lines filled with x's when I've finished them and having the numbers crossed off as you go) and always wish there were more than 3 colours.  However, number 10 seems to be the hardest one yet.  You get right into it in the very first griddle!  There are no easy peasy ones at the beginning for beginners like the other nonogram games and I'm already having to put x's in so I can work out where to go!

I just hope I haven't startled any of you with all the 4-letter words being screamed out at the top of my voice!

Note to self ... check, recheck, then check again before clicking on any square!!!!
