Can someone tell me why, if I've played all the games Tee lists, my unplayed list just keeps getting longer and longer and longer? At least reading Tee's lists makes me feel good that I've at least played some of my games.

I hear you.  I played a ton of games in 2012 and 2013, got involved in free to play in 2014 and haven't played as many purchased games since.

But I do feel good when somebody just finishes a game and I can say to my self "I already played that."  And surely I get myself in gear and start finishing more than I'm buying by the time Tee makes it to the games she bought in 2013 (purchase date of my oldest HOPA).

Re: Oldest HOPA Game Challenge 08/01/2015 - 08/31/2015

When I look at the date of my oldest unplayed games, I realize that I brought my folks to Tulsa in May 2010 and since I was still working FT until October 2012, I did not get many games played.  I played a lot of M3 because they were easy to do in short time frames I had available.  Plus when I played, it was late at night and I was pooped.

I just kept buying the games when they had all their holiday sales and occasionaly BOGO (for my retirement) and now I'm making up for lost time.  Tirama, I saw the lists you recently listed and was impressed by the number you had played.  I really need to play some newer stuff just to see how much they have improved but the ones I'm playing, I'm enjoying.  Skipping a lot of DD's and M3's just to play the better games I recognize.

I also made the decision not to "cancel" any more because it doesn't do me any good ~ there are too many sequels of games I already have and the BOGO's make it easy to stock up.  Decided at my age, I don't spend money on too many frivolous things and I can't take it with me so if I don't get them all played, I won't stress out about it.  Hopefully, I will still be playing them 10+years from now.

M3's, nonograms, straight HOG's like the Mystery PI series, and free to play games are the way to go when all you can manage is short periods of playing time and/or when your mind is just overloaded by real life problems.
