Anyone make the upgrade to Windows 10. I did, yesterday, and everything went smoothly. Liking it a lot so far and really not that different from what I'm used to. I only had a problem with one thing and I couldn't find the Paint program. I use it a lot on my other forums for SS. After checking on the net, I finally found someone who explained how to find it in Windows 10 ~ not easy and not sure why it isn't more readily apparent.

A couple of people on another board did. Apparently there's something called WiFi Service where any one of your friends (Facebook, etc) can use your WiFi without knowing your password and without you knowing. There is a way to opt out. One tried to D/L a purchased game from her BFG Purchase History but it wouldn't work. When she went to Purchase History through the GM it did work. I don't know if that's a Win 10 thing. My GM has been weird for a week now.

I haven't done the upgrade and I'm quite hesitant to do it. I use Quickbooks and I really don't want anything to bugger that up. It can be quite tetchy sometimes.
I've had a lot of trouble with the GM lately as well. It gets hung up and I have to CAD out of it but I even have difficulty doing that sometimes.
I don't understand about the WiFi Service. How can it be piggybacked on like that? That could really cost you a lot of money.

Stusue...So sorry to hear about your mum passing. I know you were expecting it, but still hurtful when it happens. {{{stusue}}} And you were there until the end which must have been a real comfort to your mum and nobody can take away all the memories you made this past year. Good times and bad.
