The following is from Boomzap's June newsletter:
Dear Zappers,
Exciting news: our Kickstarter campaign for Legends of Fire & Steel has officially started! Please help us reach our funding goal of $50,000 in 30 days.
Legends of Fire & Steel is an innovative turn-based single and multiplayer fantasy world conquest game that we are currently developing for PC, Mac, and mobile tablets. Set in a world with three warring races - Human, Fae, Revenant - players create armies which are led by heroes. The objective is to capture all of your opponent’s castles and rule the world.
Visit our Kickstarter page to find out more and back our project!
Aside from pledging, you can also help out by spreading the news on Facebook, Twitter, and everywhere else. Here are the important links:.
Since when has Boomzap kickstarted? Have they done it before? Are they now doing it because they no longer have funding from BFG?
Tirama, you seem to know what's going on and I thought you might have an idea. I just found it interesting.
At least they're also making this game for PC!
This is from their kickstarter page: (Bolding done by me)
We've spent the last 10 years making great games, and we're proud of all of them. But we've always been limited to making the kinds of games that publishers support. For years, we've wanted to make the kind of games that we want to play ourselves: hardcore strategy multiplayer games that can be played in short play sessions and are NOT Free-to-Play. We've taken these kinds of designs to dozens of publishers, and the responses we get are usually the same: "That's great, but can you make it free to play? Can you make it more casual? Can you attach a license to it?" It's clear that if we're going to make this kind of game, it's not going to be supported by a publisher - and that means funding it ourselves.
I will not be funding them. I don't want to play the kind of games they want to make. They no longer want to make the kind of games I want to play. And that fact had become painfully obvious the past couple of years judging by the sloppy bug-infested updates they released for they're 2 free-to-play games. Let the Southeastern Asian mobile gaming market they decided to serve finance this.

stusue -- Interesting about that app! Is it a smartphone app or a PC app? Where did you get it?
I won't be funding BoomZap's new game either. It just doesn't sound like something I'd like.
So far I've finished 2 games this month. I'm calling CLUTTER III finished because I did all the puzzles I cared to. I also finished VACATION ADVENTURES: PARK RANGER 3. A charming, relaxing little game. They say there will be a PR 4. I sure hope so.

.
Lily, it's a PC app that I got through Firefox, called Ghostery. I'm not sure if you can get it through other browsers but chances are that you can. This is what it says about the app...
Welcome to Ghostery for Firefox version 5.4.5!
Ghostery looks for third-party page elements (or "trackers") on the web pages you visit. These can be things like social network widgets, advertisements, invisible pixels used for tracking and analytics, and so on. Ghostery notifies you that these things are present, and which companies operate them. You can learn more about these companies, and if you wish, choose to block the trackers they operate.
.
The most trackers I've seen on any one site is 11. As most are social widgets, trackers, advertising, etc, I just block them all ... except for BazaarVoice on BFG's game pages, of course, so I can still see the reviews. The 7 trackers on BFG's game pages are:
BazaarVoice (Widgets, Social)
Facebook Connect (Widgets, Social)
Google Analytics (Analytics, Analytics)
Google+ Platform (Widgets, Social)
McAfee Secure (Widgets) - and I don't even have McAfee
Tealium (Analytics, Tag Manager)
Twitter Button (Widgets, Social)
On this page there's only one tracker:
VigLink (Advertising, In-Text Advertising)

Thanks stusue! I'll try that. BFG may have that McAfee Secure since BFG uses McAfee as their security.

Thanks so much for the info, Tirama!
I certainly shan't be funding them, either, as, like you, they're not the sort of games I like playing.

Ah, of course! Thanks, Lily.

No thanks, Boomzap. I also, won't be contributing to your Legends of Fire & Steel game as I have no desire to play it.
Eipix is all updated in the Developer's list of games. Page 1, Post 5.
I was going to use a pcc on Dark Parables: Queen of Sands game, but since it is 1/2 off today and a Bonus Punch day. I'll just spend the 3.49 and get the 2 punches.
I spent my pccs on Rite of Passage: The Lost Tides & Haunted Legends: The Dark Wishes.

Isn't this Tuesday? Are they having bonus punches today? I'm all confused????
I was able to download my newest games, there were only three of them; I'd stopped by my help's apt. on a jump for a few hours and downloaded my prior purchases. I also downloaded what I could from GameHouse for my Funpass playing, none of them were very large file size, so it went pretty quick and I made sure to get The Sweetest Thing. I've been trying to concentrate on them since my BFG games will still be there after Funpass expires, but I want to play some BFG, lol. I still need to do the bonus of Sleepy Hollow, and I've been playing an Ancien Alien Makeover? game, M3. It has some powerups you can use off to the side but I always forget about them. You can create so many bonuses on the board, a 4 of a kind wipes out an entire row, and you can switch it to the row above or below, it doesn't have to match anything to go off. 5 or 6 of a kind gets a cross that wipes out row and column. You have to break every tile on the board and then a thing appears and you have to drop it off the bottom to win the board. Pretty easy with all the bonuses you can make.

I see there it is Bonus Punch day, wish they would advertise it better. I usually go to the PC Home page and it's not always advertised there. And now, if it's going to be on random days... gonna be confusing. This would be a good time for me to buy because I can download, but there's just nothing I'm excited about. The DD sounds alright, I don't have it, but then I would still need 4 more punches. I have one PCC so that wouldn't help, I'd have to use 2 Customer Service coupons, which would be alright, but there just aren't any games I'm dying to have so I guess I'll pass.

Oops, I stumbled across today's sale codes half an hour before Bonus Punch Tuesday finished yesterday, thinking it was from the day before, so went shopping madly in the last half hour and got some CEs and an SE to complete some punch cards - half price plus an extra punch! Then, to my surprise, there were the codes at midnight only a few minutes after I'd just used them!
I'd been checking out the Eipix games to see if there was anything I wanted to get with the bonus punches but couldn't make up my mind. I was checking out what codes there'd been the day before, so checked on the Retail Me Not site and found today's codes, but I didn't know that they were for today. So I really quickly checked out all the CEs and SEs and got some. Only then did I realise that I'd used the codes a day early, on a bonus punch day! I was just slightly chuffed.
