Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I haven't logged into either game since the day after the announcement, I think I was kinda looking for an excuse to quit since everything had become so repetitive.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I decided to play teh new cities and get the last 2 platinum collections for Odin.   I'm waiting for Spain to be unlocked to get teh wallpaper for the Time Machine building.  I still have the quests to open more mini scenes, but it's much easier to play those places without them being open, so I'm going to wait until after Halloween before I continue that quest line.

So all I've got to do right now is finish buying all the customizations.  I might spend some time playing mini games and see how much money I can amass, not that I really need it.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

The customization of the museum buildings to the animal themes finished today. OMG, worse than the pirate theme.  One thousand times worse.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I have no intention of doing the animal themed customization.  The only reason I did the pirate ones was because of Pirate Day.  Since I never really did the auctions I don't have that much money.  Real Life has been too busy for me to do much more than give out keys and check the Daily Quest and get the Daily Reward.  Life is getting a bit more reasonable but it's still busy.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

If you need money, play the mini games in the museum office.  I've played most of the blue prints up to guru level.  Good place to use keepsakes.  Using the Hummingbird when playing the 0/20 and 0/50 levels pays out almost 12,000 coins.  And you can complete around 2 a minute.

I'm working on the Ye Old English customizations next.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

My last set of customizations has finished.  Started another batch.  Been selling things at auction and have had some people who must be quitting the game play rather high prices for some very mundane objects.

Now that there's nothing else coming to spend my gold on, wouldn't you know it?  I'm getting gold bars as my daily reward when now I could use those bundles containing mini game resources.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I'm plugging away at becoming a guru.

All countries except Spain and Romania are at guru level.
10 of the 26 cities are at guru level

Mini games at guru
Turtle (what a surprise)
All the blueprints

I've been bouncing around from area to area playing the minis that give the resources I need. Means at all of a sudden, I'll have a bunch of them reacging gur at the same time, which will be nice.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

Tirama -- I was just checking in to get my daily reward and quest and give keys, but I think I'll follow your lead and try to get as much to Guru as I can.  That should stretch the game out for quite a while!   Oh.  And I'm hoiping I can play long enough and the updates are good enough that I can get Odin off my back!

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I'd love to complete everything by the end of the year.

Made good money on the auction today.  Never know which items people are going to throw their coins at.

So far:
Jambiya  - 5,001
Mary Janes  - 3,200
Ran Cookie Jar - 1,000
Common Goose Feather - 1,500

And I've got some items still out there with very high bids.
