I finished the bonus of Cadenza Kiss of Death. Boy was that short. It only had three or four scenes. Didn't much care for the game and really feel like I wasted my CE coupon, oh, well. Maybe I'll write and complain.
I finished Island Tribe 2, liked it much better with a timer. I didn't get gold on quite a few levels, some I didn't like so didn't bother to replay. I just started Shadow Wolf Mysteries Bane of the Family (number 2 in the series). I remembered the beginning so I don't know if I've finished it before or not. Not going to finish it this time because I'm stuck before I even get into the house. All scenes say "nothing to be done here" except the door scene, it directs me to the lock, which needs something to turn it with. I don't have anything in my inventory that works and I don't feel like d/l the walkthrough, it's got waaaay too many HOs for me. So I'm off in search of something else, might just stick with TM or M3 since it's Friday and I don't get much chance to play on the weekends. Oh, I forgot cause it's not on my GM. I started the second Dreamscapes game, with the Beholders, that's a good one cause each area only has three or four scenes, then you move on. Perfect for the weekend.

The first two Shadow Wolfs were the best imo.

So far this month, I have finished Gardenscapes which I loved. Got a kick out of Austin, the butler and his variety of comments. Kept playing, thinking there was more to come and checked the forum and realized that the end was after the contest was judged. Enjoyed Reincarnations: Awakening and thought the graphics were advanced for 2009; loved the puzzles and HOS and although the game was shorter than usual, it was nice for an older game.
Just finished Final Cut: Death on the Silver Screen CE this morning after putting it on hold because of RL stuff and my reunion last weekend. Started with mixed feelings because it seemed like it was all over the place with so many locations and lots of B/F but really started to like it once I was able to play for a longer period of time. Story was ok but LOVED the puzzles (33 in all with only one skip). Thought of you, Wendy, because I know you love puzzles. There were so many different kinds and not all easy. Lots of different things to do and tons of achievements which I only got half of and wish they had let us know how many of the cards and photos we ended up with finally. There is a mystery achievement which I didn't get but found out it involved one of the animals in the game. Think I will start the next one since I'm familiar now with their game style.
Also, going to go back and work on Pahelika ~ very different kind of game, but I like it.

Tee -- I adore GRADENSCAPES and Austin! Once or twice, though, he had me crying real tears when he said he was "so lonely". I've played REINCARNATIONS: AWAKENING but don't remember a thing about it. I have the FINAL CUT but haven't played those yet.

I have the Final Cuts, but in SE. I loved the first one. It didn't bother me walking back and forth through that mansion and I didn't mind the HOs, either. They had a contest to win a free CE of Dead Reckonings, you had to tell what your favorite EIPIX game was. I won a copy, I knew I would because I wrote about how much I loved Final Cut.
I'm over level 200 in Queen's Garden 2. I play a few levels in bed before I turn the lappie off for the night. When the generator power goes off and I'm using battery the screen dims and it's more difficult to find items in the HOs so I switch to M3, TM, or Solitaire then. I've started the first Avalon Solitaire, also. It's pretty similar to Fareway, you have goals to accomplish in each series of hands, score so many points, make a run of x cards, etc. I wish the goals were a little harder, though, I don't like if you have 8 hands and accomplish the goal on the third one. I picked up Avalon 2, it has some great reviews.

I was going to ask to borrow a PCC for tomorrow but when I checked BFG the Daily Deal was Phenonm...however you spell that word, I detest that word... Outcome with great reviews, including one from Freyasmom, so I rejoined and bought that, which filled my card. Perfect!!!

Quickly before I go as Mum wants to potter around and I have to give her some liquid morphine for her breathing before she starts dusting ... mums, what can you do with them?
I've somehow managed to play 2 HOPAs:
Rite of Passage: The Lost Tides CE - There's a glitch in the bonus game that prevented me from finishing, and thus I couldn't access all the bonus material. If you do something out of order you get stuck and have to restart the entire game. I wrote to CS and got a replacement coupon that expired in about 10 days. I definitely recommend the game but can't recommend the CE with this glitch, although, if you know about the glitch and manage to avoid it,you'd be able to finish the game and thus get to all the extras - and there are lots. Another thing, if you don't get the collectible seashell in the second scene (before the cutscene that ends the scene, so get it as soon as you enter the scene), you can't go back and get it. I had to restart the game to get it and, as I couldn't get to the extras I don't know if you can go back after you've finished to collect any you've missed. Lots of bonus stuff although I don't now what most of it is as it's locked until you've finished the bonus chapter which, of course, I couldn't do. But I LOVED the orchestral music!
Okay, I've given Mum her morphine so I'll quickly finish before getting lunch ...
Surface: Alone in the Mist CE - SO not worth CE status! Once again I couldn't finish to access all the bonus material, although the extras are SO not worth CE status! There's an arcade platform game in the bonus chapter and I had to get a nephew to finish it for me after I'd attempted it about 20 times (only to find I'd been only 1 obstacle away from finishing). Then, the last thing you have to do in the bonus material to access all the extras was this same arcade game, and you can't skip it. So I couldn't get the last few extras. I got the CE as I thought it would be fun collecting things which, when you have enough you meet some of the characters in the game one by one and they each ask you to do 2 things - one HOP and one MG from the main game ... and they're the only HOPs and MGs you get to play again in the extras! Not all of them, only some of them! And that was about it. You can reply those few HOPs and MGs and I don't think there's much else. I definitely recommend the SE but I was very disappointed with the CE, especially not being able to access all the extras with that stupid platformer! I did, however, get a replacement coupon that this time doesn't expire until 31 December, so that's good, and I still get to keep the game.
Maybe one day I'll replay Rite of Passage and get to all the extras as there are heaps! And maybe one day I'll manage to finish that stupid platformer (although it was great to have a little platformer in the game, just one that I wish wasn't so hard to time correctly) in Surface and get those last couple of wallpapers and whatever else it was (not worth it but I want them all!).
I've also played a great little resource TM ... and even bought it! ... over at GameHouse. It's called Sweetest Thing. It's about a horde of ants who are destroying Sugar Land (or whatever it's called) and all the little guys with, I think, you as their leader, have to collect sugar cubes and jelly and popsicles, etc, to rebuild the land and destroy the Ant Queen. The entire game is sweet ... the characters (but not those nasty ants, of course) ... the scenery (everything is made out of sugar), the colours, etc. It looks like it's made for 5 yo kids. However, I soon had to replay a level to get all 3 stars as it was quite easy to block yourself in, needing sugar cubes to build a bridge, but the sugar cube factory was on the other side of the bridge, for example, so it wasn't a game for kids as it sometimes took a few goes to work out the strategy. I almost had sugar overload playing it but I LOVED the music and it was so cute that I had to buy it. Then I came across a few glitches, although I still managed to finish the game with 3 stars on all 41 levels (which means it isn't a very long game). I wrote to CS, detailing all the glitches I came across, just to let them know, and got a reply within 10 mins, thanking me, saying that all the info would be passed on to the developers so that they could fix the glitches, and that a couple of credits had been added to my account for the inconvenience, although I actually got 3!!!! I'm a very happy chappy, not having expected anything! But it's definitely a game I can recommend to anyone who likes resource TMs (I love them!) when it gets to BFG, and for anyone who has a FunPass over at GameHouse.

I had three coupons to use and today is a BPM. I also picked up the new New York Mysteries as the sale code from the weekend still worked.

stuesue -- I just checked and I have the SE of RITE OF PASSAGE. I'll make a note to get the SE of SURFACE too. I'm waiting to buy that until I play some of the other SURFACE games.
oscar -- What to do, what to do. I have a PCC but my punch card is empty. I'm tempted to use it since it's BPM but I don't know if there will be other sales this month. Maybe I'll just wait to see what Father's Day and July 4 bring.

I'm waiting for July 4th. Last year we had a BOGO. Father's Day 2014 we had the same sale we had this weekend.
I haven't finished anything in a while. We've had some bad storms teh past week so I've been on puppy-comfort duty. I go to the dentist tomorow to have the prep work done for two more crowns, then next week I go back for gum surgery.
