oscar...I like it. Eddie Bear is a cute name. Eddie is just as cute as a nickname too. I also used a nickname with my dog. His official name was Pepper and I would call him
Peppery
Peeps
Pep &
Steamboat
Wendy...Sorry to hear about your MiL. How is your husband taking it? Were they very close?
I started making a melt & pour soap. A very basic, beginners recipe using cupcake paper as the mold. I made lemon scented with yellow soap coloring. Turned out very nice. I used epsom salt for the top and it looks like a cupcake with sprinkled sugar on it.
I finally got my bath bomb molds in the mail. I thought I might try making a Cherry Almond & Raspberry scented one. I have a feeling my first few times won't come out, but I hope practice makes perfect.

Milo is going over large I've left him alone when I walk tank so that's 30-60 mins. I do hear him crying when we leave but he's asleep when we get back. Tonight he was crying when I lost him in his crate and left to go have a shower but he'd stopped by the time I'd got to the car perhaps because tank was with him.
You lost him in his crate? I'd cry, too, lol. It's better for him to get used to being alone now, I think. My Chi was either always with us or with the Jack and he howls when he's left alone. When we don't have neigbors he can disturb I try to take the Jack for a walk and let Snoop howl his head off, he's still doing it.
My screen keeps going crazy with the text and message window size while I'm typing, going from teeny tiny to huge and my cursor is jumping around, anybody ever had that happen?

He's got some mad scientist eyebrows going on in this pic.

sometimes the IPad gets away from me while typing!
Eddie - He seems pretty light but he is 10lbs of fun. He gets carried quite a bit. He is just so darn adorable no one wants to put him down. Plus I don't want him underfoot when anyone is here working. The little girl next door gave him one of her stuffies which they both love but it is bigger than Eddie by a lot, he still drags it around. I'm definitely getting him used to being in the car, on his own lost in his crate (lol). He seems to like it. Last night was glorious! I wasn't awoken until 6:30! He has had some accidents, I just don't move fast enough. why oh why do they head for the carpet! (a rhetorical question) Never fails though, huge expanses of laminate, ceramics etc but he heads for an area rug. He just barrels thru the house with toys scampering about. Tank is still put out but will tolerate him in small doses. As long as it doesn't interfere with his walks he should be fine. Speaking of walks, I have had some stellar walking weeks/days lately, making my goals pretty consistently. I had a personal best of 75K+ steps, about 30 miles last week that I walked.
And here is the counter:

75k steps!! 30 miles!! MAJOR CONGRATULATIONS!! I LOVE the new counter top! I'd want to carry that cutie too. Besides it won't be all than long before he will be too big to carry.

That will be said when I can't pick him up

He is such an Eddie Bear, I think it's the perfect name for him. All the new puppies are so dang cute. Tank will probably like Eddie better when he gets out of the teething stage. A few years ago the guy working for me got a Chi puppy and I had to puppysit a lot. When he was little they could get up on the couch or bed to get away from him, once he got a little bigger I had to put him on a leash inside the house so they could get some peace because all he wanted to do was chew on my guys' legs. Once he got past that they didn't mind him. Tee's boys have each other to chew on, lol. Oh, and they always seem to seek out carpet to throw up on, too, and the bed.
Love the new countertop, with the light paint it should offset all the black quite nicely.
I need to get in some exercise but it's so hard on the road. I hate, hate, hate walking and my lungs are starting to get bad, sometimes just a little moving around gets me breathing hard. I prefer weightlifting, building up my muscles, but it's tough to do out here and when I try to exercise at home it shakes the RV and hubby gets queasy. I haven't had a period since last July and I think I've put on 10 pounds since then and I was already 10 pounds heavier than I like so I feel like a beached whale. I go to try on clothes and it makes me want to cry. I'm the body type where all the weight goes to my stomach, I still look alright from the back but when I turn around.... At least I'm getting old enough that people don't ask if I'm pregnant anymore, lol.

Tank doesn't let him get close enough to be a chew toy. For now he naps in the crate, sleeps in the crate at night and if I'm working in the yard I have an x-pen enclosure to put him in to keep him out of trouble. Once he doesn't fit in the larger crate I have I baby gate him in the kitchen until I feel like he won't be a nuisance to Tank during the day or get himself into any trouble. This worked well for all my others, even when they were singletons I gate them in a room or crate them. Safer for them less worry for me.
Banner moment, Eddie went to the back door and pawed at the screen to go out.
