Those dogs look like little cartoons in the one pic, if you know what I mean. they really are adorable. Speaking of adorable, I am getting Milo on Saturday, I just need to set up what time. And my bathroom reno started today whoo hoo. Right now it has been demolished down to the studs except for the tub, shower doors and tile. they took out the bulkheads, the floor etc and managed to get the mirror off the wall without breaking it. shocking considering it appeared to have been glued to it and it is 4ftx4ft! I am so excited to see this underway. Tomorrow I am going to pick out my countertop for the vanity. I'm not quite sure what I'll get. This is my wall colour.. My flooring I'm going to pick tomorrow but it will be a retro black and white mosaic tile. Not sure what pattern. all trim, vanity, tub etc are white, the shower doors are frosted and nickel trim. The window i had to get custom and is going to be privacy glass as well. I am pleased this will be done before Milo gets home.
Sun - keep us posted. Another thing you could use the oils for is something I was looking at for making homemade scrubs, magnesium foot scrubs and other ones.

Thanks everyone for your sweet remarks on the pups and kind words for my son.
Oscar, that color is beautiful, so calming and cool. Love that you're using Sherwin Williams ~ my youngest son has worked for them since Aug 97, right out of college ~ complaining that he didn't want to sell paint for the rest of his life. I told him to give it 5 years as that would look good on his resume, and has steadily moved up the ranks. He presently meets with corporate customers/builders and is providing his family with a nice living (esp since their stock keeps going up and up). It's a good, solid company.

oscar -- That is a pretty color. Ummm.....do you have another bathroom? Or at least a powder room? Bet you're REALLY excited about Saturday!

Lol yup, I do have another, just powder room though. I can go to a friends for a shower. If I didn't have that option I'd probably just go to the Y and pay $2 for a swim and use the shower instead. It should be all finished by the weekend.
Tee Sherwin Williams might be a little more expensive but is worth it, a quality product. Funny how things turn out sometimes career wise. Many well wishes to you and your son from me as well.

oscar...What a nice blue shade. I'm envious that you are getting your bathroom done over. Lol Oh, what a nice feeling it would be when it is done and everything is shiny and new. My bathroom is not bad. It is very small and there is nothing spa like about it though.
Yes, I was starting to look at recipes for body scrubs and bath salts and such. Plenty of ideas to use up the essential oils. Also, I did find a nice pumpkin mask recipe to try out.

I bought this house in 1997. I haven't done much to it except a coat of paint, and new toilet and sink when required.
This is my new tile, retro and I love it, along with the counter top.

oscar -- That bathroom should look great! I think we had that black & white tile in the bathroom in our old house (first one I remember) when I was growing up.
