I've just dexed Mahjongg: Legends of the Tiles.
This has got to be the worst mahjongg game ever. It consistantly gives you layouts that can not be won without shuffling. Lots of shuffling. As in 1 match available, remove those tiles, and voila, it's time to shuffle again. Rinse and repeat.
You get points for quickly removing tiles and lose points for, you guessed it, shuffling. You don't get to choose your tile set in adventure mode and every so many levels, just when you get comfortable with the latest tile set, the game gives you a new set of tiles themed to whatever area of the world and era it's chosen for those levels. You don't get to see the entire tile set before you begin playing, so you have to quess which tiles represent the flowers and the seasons.
I'm not in the best of moods due to the announcement that there will be no more updates on 2 of my favorite free to play games. I started playing this piece of junk about a week ago as a time filler and had intended to tough it out and finish it, but after starting yet another layout with yet another new tile set and needed to shuffle after only removing 4 tiles, I'm done..

Tirama -- At least you heard back from CS. I sent in an email almost a week ago and haven't gotten anything except the automated email.
I finished THE CHRONICLES OF EMERLAND SOLITAIRE and absolutely loved it! What a wonderful game!
Have you tried the free to play versions Emerland Solitaire: Endless Journey?

I finished Grim Facade: Sinister Obsession last night. You are going to need the CE for this one if you want the story to make any sense. When the main game ended it was so abrupt and confusing and even after playing the bonus I had to go into the forums to read the few threads that dealt with the ending to see what theories other people had to say about the story. I get the gist now and have to say that this game was just all right and not one of my favorite ERS games.
I updated Nevosoft in the Developers list of games. Page 4 post #36. I am not going to be getting anything. I have played Hypnosis and Shadow Shelter which I both liked. I also have Vampireville - Mushroom Age - Dreamland & Laura Jones and the Gates of Good & Evil which I have not played yet.

I started Myths of the World: Spirit Wolf, my first Myths game. I started on a harder customized setting and I had to go back and make it easier. I wasn't getting any cursor changes and it's mad hard to find all the hotspots and inventory without it.

I'm in a funk. Don't want to play anything. So angry at BoomZap. Wish they would have made announcement some other time. I was just starting to get in the groove again.

I feel bad for you guys that have put so much time into the game and enjoyed them. I gather this means the game is still there just no new quests etc. I wonder what they are going to be doing from here on. All I can say about your funk T is give Tiff a hug, it might help.
sunshine - Vampireville was quite good.

oscar - we've lost two games, ART and AK. There's still content in ART and the holiday special events will be repeated (I imagine until nobody logs in any more). Everything on the playing board/map/screen can be completed, so it's possible to imagine your own ending to the game. If you've bought everything availble, and finished all the quests, and built everything there is to build, you can tell yourself that you've 'won'. You were tasked with restoring the town and you completed that task.
Not so with AK.

Well, for those of us who are gluttons for punishment and want to risk being left high and dry one more time:
Eipix has created a M3 free to play game called Free the Witch. According to an article dated April 30, it will be soft-launching in Canada "soon" and hit the world-wide market 1-2 months later. Article doesn't make it clear whether it's for PC or mobile devices.

Hi. I've been super busy in RL and really haven't had much to say about games either. In April I finished ONE game but bought 11!! I don't think I'll finish any games in May. I'm playing CLUTTER III which is HUGE!! I just can't seem to focus on HOPAs.
Right now I'm in a funk about losing ART and AK. I'm especially sad about AK. I'll finish out what I can (I still have achievements to get in both games). ART might have the holiday events up until the end of the year. At least I hope so.

I guess I can feel relieved that I got out of the FTP games many moons ago as one who likes to finish what I start, I would have probably been pretty PO, too. But for some reason, the FTP games/FB games just left me feeling frustrated that I couldn't get everything accomplished in the time frame I had so reducing stress topped finishing. You would think these companies would consider their customers feelings instead of just their bottom dollar as it alienates these customers but maybe the younger set with their myriad of computer gadgets trumps all.
