I started Cadenza Kiss of Death yesterday and once again it is a winner. It has some really neat aspects that I haven't encountered before. Fun fun fun. One I'll be stretching out over several nights for sure. I went to BFG to see what was what and found I hadn't dl anything since April 22. That's a long time for me. Almost mid-month and I haven't purchased anything, I may be able to make it. I really don't NEED to get anything. But the new Rite of Passage is out.........
It is rather chilly today 11C, hard to beleive it was 30C last Wednesday. I should mow the lawn as it is supposed to rain Fri - Sun. By that time it will be up to my knees, everything is growing so fast.
I know what you mean Sun. It seems every evening I sit down to play before bed and can hardly keep my eyes open, well until I started Cadenza it was like that. I used to be up til all hours but not lately.

I finished Phantasmat: The Endless Night Collector's Edition.
It took longer than I had thought because real life got in the way (dentist, and have been rearranging furniture). I liked this one better than ERS's sequel and in some respects it was better than the first one. There was a good mixture of hidden object scenes (lists, silhouettes, progressive silhouettes, find x of, morphs) and making the collectibles stylized eyes was a nice homage to the developers of the first game.
I didn't think the storyline was a strong as the first Phantasmat, mostly likely because there moe more characters in this one and consequently they weren't as well developed. Ending took me by surprise.
Going to play Nightmares from the Deep: Davy Jones Collector's Edition next.
I think tomorrow's CE will be the next installment in the Dark Parables series. Last one I bought was Jack and the Sky Kingdom, but I thought the series went off track with the Red Riding Hood Sisters.
From what I've seen of the screen shots, the new one loks much more like the first two in the series.

Hi, everybody. I finished Jack and the Sky Kingdom. Didn't like it as well as the others but the final puzzle was pretty good. It was a cube with a different puzzle on each side, you could do them in whatever order you wanted. I'm still playing Queen's Garden 2, M3. It doesn't seem to have an end, I'm up around level 150 I think, but the levels have started geetting easier. I have all the plants unlocked. Maybe it's time for a different one, lol. I've been playing European Mystery Face of Envy on my Android tablet. I don't like HOPAs on a tablet, I've discovered. I have a few of them but they were on sale for 99 cents so no biggie. This one is a bit confusing with the special power you have, you have to find blueprints and stuff to make things involving crystals and special light...it's confusing, like I said. Can't decide what's up next.

I am glad I got Cadenza: The Kiss of Death with a pcc on Monday. Sounds like it is as good as the first one.
I have yet to play Phantasmat: The Endless Night. I got this game with my free CE coupon that BFG was giving out. Good to hear that Eipix did a good job on it since they are doing the next Phantasmat game too. Phantasmat: The Dread of Oakville. I simply adore Codeminion's version and think it is hard to top.
I tried Deadly Puzzles: Toymaker on my tablet. It is not a true HOPA, but even still it was still not much fun playing while you had to move the screen around with your finger and items very small. I like the game though so I bought it for the PC when it came up for a Daily Deal.
I am playing Grim Facade: Sinister Obsession. It is a very linear game with a smooth gameplay and the puzzles are on the easy side so I think it is what I need right now to stick with it until the end.
I have been weeding and mulching my front. It feels good to get it done. The weather turned cold on us too. 87 on Monday and 47 yesterday with a frost advisory Wednesday night. Today a slightly warmer.

I checked last night and found I only have one more chapter in Cadenza, the main game and thought wow that was short. But in reality I think it just seems that way and for me it will be about 3.5-4 hrs. It does go by quickly because it is smooth. At this point I can say I found the first one more challenging though than this one. It's a little on the easy side but still mucho enjoyable.

I'm playing Sable Maze:Sullivan River. I'm not really liking it. Everything is grey. The HOs are a little hard to find stuff in because of the monotone. They're good in a wAY, like "horn" was on the list as something in sight, and "unicorn" as something that needed action, so you find the horn and put in on the unicorn, but the colors are just so dull it makes the game seem dull to me. The few puzzles have been very easy, I'll need something bright after this one.

Just finished Myths of the World: Chinese Healer and I loved it. Beautiful graphics and the flow was nice and I wasn't constantly looking in the SG or using hints to play it. I had started one of my oldies, Veronica Rivers: Portals to the Unknown, but it was just moving so slow and I was losing interest so decided to switch to a newer series and after reading Freyamom's review of the newest one, decided to start on the Myths of the World series.
Also finished Mystery Trackers: The Four Aces CE (enjoyed it) and The Lost Cases of Sherlock Holmes which was long (16 cases) and very repetitious with teeny little items but I still enjoyed it. Took a short nap this afternoon so think I will start on Myths of the World: Stolen Spring.

I have a couple Myths games but still haven't played any. Maybe next game, lol.
I finished Sable Maze Sullivan River, put it on my "Don't bother to play again" list. It got good reviews but I didn't care for it.
I started 9: The Dark Side of Notre Dame. It has a map that tells you where there are things to be done and the hint tells you exactly where to go and what to do, nice to have the two different ways to get a hint. The story is kinda blah but it had a really cool scene I had to stop and tell you all about. A dog was in my way and I found a hot dog and took it to him. If you moved the cursor around with the hot dog on the end of it the dog would move his head to keep looking at the hot dog, right, left, right, left. Made me chuckle, I teased him for a couple minutes with that hot dog before I finally gave it to him. Actually, I tossed it into the other scene and he took off after it. Really cute how they did it. I also did a HO scene where I had to open a cabinet where I found a bullet for a gun that was in there so I could shoot off the lock of the cabinet above it, where I had to open something to find a beetle.

I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that there will be no more HOPAs from BoomZap as well. No Otherworld: Winter.
