Hello Meg! Nice to see you. I hope all is well and congrats on Maddie. Ah allergies, they are the pits. There is no such thing as "just allergies". They do go in cycles though. I never had them until I turned 36 and then I became riddled with enviromental ones. I took shots for years after that. I think I spent that first summer in capacitated by them. Good for you on the removal of added sugar. I am not a pop drinker but I know people who have cut that (or soda as you guys call it) and dropped quite a bit, same with in your coffee. Good luck on that front I know how hard it is to lose weight. I hope we see more of you in the forum (and less of you, lol).

Hi, Meg ~ so nice to read your lengthy catchup. Hooray for the new kittie ~ she sounds adorable. Don't know if you read back but I got two new puppies the end of Feb. They are small dogs (two brothers) but boy, can they get into stuff and tear up anything left unattended (how do you keep them from chewing on the bathmat in the bathroom??).
Good luck on getting your games played. In the same boat here, never enough time to get them played on a regular basis. Seems like the yard needs to be worked in, plant flowers, watch taped shows, read, etc. The thing in games nowadays is that it seems the stories are so convoluted, it's hard to follow them or figure them out and that takes away from the overall enjoyment. Good luck on the weight loss!

I would hate to have an allergy of cats. I love to bury my nose in their fur and just breathe in, I guess I love cat dander, lol. I did start getting allergies out of the blue about 5 years ago, but the pollen or whatever kind, haven't figured it out. I had my last period in July and I think I've put on 20 pounds since then, I've just started lifting weights again, that works well for me if I keep it up. You lose weight lifting the weights and they turn fat into muscle and the muscle burns more calories than fat does so it's a double plus.

I started Phenomenon Meteorite this evening. What a gem! I don't know how this slid to the back burner for me. Just too many to pick from. This is on my oldie list and so far gets atwo thumbs up.
Well mea culpa, I actually lied. I am allergic to cats I forgot about that and have been since my early twenties. I briefly owned a rescue then. I absolutely adore the vet cat Betty so I let her snuggle up whenever I'm there and I think the allergy is not as bad anymore. She is the most affectionate I've ever met.

Hello all, I have been visiting my daughter and her family. It was a nice visit, but it is good to be back home. She doesn't have the internet so I couldn't check in here or see what daily deals I missed out on. I hope it wasn't anything I wanted.
I did lug my laptop (actually my daughter's old one) with me, so I was able to play something. MCF 13 Skulls was already d/l on it, so I played that. What a great game it is. I l love the music and the puzzles and enjoyed the live actors. I especially liked Charlotte and her parrot Mr. Crickets. What a hoot she was. I was thinking the little girl Magnolia must be a teenager by now. How time flies by. I had such trouble clipping those weeds with lightning speed using the laptop. I didn't have access to the internet and couldn't see a way to skip it so I just kept at it until I finally got it. Took me a hour! The whole game including the bonus took me 15 hours. What a excellent game. I looked in the forum after I got back to read the comments and reviews which is what I usually do andsaw that there was 112 pages for the CE.

Hiya Sun! Hope you had a great visit. Yip 13 Skulls is one I definitely want to replay. That should be a new thread. All the MCF games that we start to replay, snags we hit and help we need. (Or are playing for the first time)

Hi Oscar! Yes, 13th Skull was very fun to play even second time through. Your idea was a good one. I haven't played Shadow Lake or Fates Carnival yet and want to replay 2 of the Ravenhearst games sometime.

I'm slowly playing Dark Parables: Jack and the Sky Kingdom. I'm not really getting into it, the reviews on it weren't all that great. I love FRAGs, but it seems like everything is a badge or something liike it, instead of different things. It's intertwined with the Red Riding Hood game, but the story could have been done so much better.

Nice to see you again Meg!
I have finished:
The Far Kingdoms-Age of Solitaire. Rather boring but I felt kind of compelled to finish it. Luckily it was short
Queen´s Quest -Tower of Darkness PE. Booring!!! Regret buying it
Yesterday I made a great bargain. I bought 11 Steam games for $ 7! It was at indiegala.com and if you are interested the deal is still going on

Hi Anki What a great deal! Your 11 games averaged out 64 cents a game. What a bargain!
Using the code FAMILY from this weekend I got the TGT Nancy Drew: The Shattered Medallion for 3.99. Not to bad and since today is BPM I got these games using a pcc
Cadenza: The Kiss of Death
Fear for Sale: Endless Voyage
Bridge to Another World: The Others
I feel like I am on the edge of a bout of gamer's burnout ( which is what I like to call it) when it hard to stay focus enough to finish a game. I am starting many games and just leave them. I think I just need to concentrate in my garden for a bit and hope this restlessness for gaming ends soon.
