Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

Stick a fork in me, I'm done.    I earned 2576 in gold this event, most of it in the last 3 days.  Ive completed 675 bunny plushies sets over the past two years.

And there's only 73 days to go to the next no-so-big event.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

You guys are already past it, but I read a tip in the forum today to "Skip" the games in Teodis and it will give you the blueprint piece.  It worked!!!  There was one game I had to do 3 or 4 times but the rest of them popped out on the first try.  I'm done with Teodi's and when my other game gets up there it will be a piece of cake.  And it only took 2 gold to skip!

I didn't try to get much gold, just no enthusiasm... and no place to really use it.  I've got 1500 to 2000 in each game, I"m good with that.  In one game I'm in a holding pattern, not up to the paintings yet, I have a quest for the Shot of France so I usually go find one or two each day and then auction them off.  I'm going to stay here until the other game is done building and whatnot.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I played Egypt for a half hour trying to build up my fuel.  Started with 28, finished with 30, then was able to complete 12? 14? collections.  Played Antarctica a bit trying to get paint brushes but they didn't have a good drop rate.

Going to do teh same thing tomorrow.

You can tell hardly anybody is playing now.  Diffilcult to find people to give keys to and when I did give out keys, didn't get the dreaed strong interent connection message.  I couldn't believe how fats the keys went out.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I finally gt enough of the frozen Antarctic paintbrushes.  So now I've got 2 buildings at level 1 (needing nails and screws), 5 at level 4 (waiting on wallpaper) and I'm waiting for the 8th building to finish level 3 so I can go inside and see what else Fatima wants me to do.

I'm still busy buying all the customizations.  At one point I had every building, except for the museum complex, under construction.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

Still working on the museum quests.  I play one of the first three countries for 30 minutes to build up my fuel, and then I play either Canada or Argentina eight tmes to try and get nails and screws.

I've started playing the blueprint mini games to get $$$ to pay for all the customizations I'm doing.  Those animal facades are ugly.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

That doesn't work for me so well, Tirama.  For example, I just played Italy 4 times and only got 2 fuels, so I'm down 2 fuels.  I only got 3 types of pieces so I can't trade in for more fuel, either.  Fuel hates me.
ETA:  I had 3 fuel left when I wrote that, went back and played a little more, now I have 7 fuel and a couple of collections, whew.  Thought I was going to have to buy fuel.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I just logged out of Travoltas and into Shagdog and it merged my games again.  It said I was Shagdogg but it had Travoltas picture.  Travolta was doing the AES compound and flying around, Shag wasn't even to the paintings yet.  Now Shag has the plane and all the building quests, the exact same as Travoltas.  Shag has the 6 fuels that Travoltas had but has kept all Shag's collections, which means no fuel collection pieces.  I didn't want to get to the flying part yet on Shag, I'm hating it enough on Travolta.  So basically, I think, Shag kept all his collections but got Travolta's quests and inventory.   Guess I'm about done with this game, that was maybe the last straw.  I'm fricking sick of AK, too.  It used to be fun but now it just kinda seems like a chore.  I remember I couldn't wait to play, now I dread it when my energy is full and I have to use the shrine.

That's too small a sample to judge by.

Today I started with 91 fuel.  I played Indonesia 32 times and finished with 96.  Then I cashed in the 12 collections I earned to bring fuel up to 108.   Next I played Argentina 4 times (I need nails).  That brought me down to 103 fuel but I git lucky and completed 3 collections so fuel is now at 106.   So I'm +15 for the day.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I'm still working on those building quests.  Still have one building at Level 1, another building at level 2.  Have increased my supply of fuel to 211 by playing one of first three countries 30 minutes a day and then playing another country 4 times to get building supplies.  Working on getting paintbrushes from Antartica.
