OMG, Sunshine, I knew someone with a dog named D.O.G. but I didn't realize what it was, for years I thought his name was Dioge. I felt soooo stupid when I finally realized. Our first dog is named for Kelso from That 70s Show, hubby wanted to name the second one Hyde but it sounded totally stupid if you tried to call it... "Here Hyde, come Hyde" I mean, really

Oh Oscar, so glad your new baby is here and the name, Milo, sounds perfect. I forgot what kind of dog you were getting.
Beautiful bracelet, too. We've got a few talented and creative people in this group ~ wonder if there is any connection between a creative streak and game playing??

It's EARTH DAY in the USA!!
Earth Day is an annual event, celebrated on April 22, on which day events worldwide are held to demonstrate support for environmental protection. It was first celebrated in 1970, and is now coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network, and celebrated in more than 192 countries each year.
and more .......................
Founded in 1970 as a day of education about environmental issues, Earth Day is now a globally celebrated holiday that is sometimes extended into Earth Week, a full seven days of events focused on green awareness. The brainchild of Senator Gaylord Nelson and inspired by the antiwar protests of the late 1960s, Earth Day was originally aimed at creating a mass environmental movement. It began as a “national teach-in on the environment” and was held on April 22 to maximize the number of students that could be reached on university campuses. By raising public awareness of air and water pollution, Nelson hoped to bring environmental causes into the national spotlight.
There's also an Urban Legend that the Founder of Earth Day killed his wife and made compost out of her ..... believeable .... or not.
Here in the USA, teachers often band together and a school will plant a tree!
What will YOU do today for Earth Day?????

I'm just about packed for my journey on Earth day. I've washed and shaved myself, not that I need it because the temps up there are low 30s to high 50s, don't think I"ll be breaking a sweat. I also washed the dogs. My Jack was always scratching and biting his back/butt area and I ordered a shampoo from Amazon and it worked wonders. One shampoo and the scratching was almost gone, I gave him a couple more and he seems pretty cured. He just started biting this week, so it seems like if he gets a shampoo with this stuff every couple of weeks he'll be good.

awww oscar. What a cutie! I couldn't really tell too much from the other picture. Are his eyes not open or are they just so dark?

My plane leaves at 6 am. We should probably leave for the airport by 4. Not a very good night's sleep. Temp up there tomorrow is a high of 48, only 47 on Friday. It's 10:15pm here and in the low 70s.

Hope you have a good season Wendy.

I think their eyes are just opening. And right now if they are the same as Winston they were kind of dark bluey. All three of my berners had brown eyes but all quite different.
Tee - Bernese Mountain dogs.
