I really like the way MC does special events.  No need to stockpile food or resources.  No doling out 1 or 2 quests per day.  

Just a simple:  there's new pets, new avatars, new achievements.  Go for them. 

And you can work on your regular quests at the same time.

Just got a quest for 5!!!! runestones and I'm totally out.  I put it on my wishlist but what's nice about this game is it doesn't matter at all if anyone gives me any.  I'm low on money and this will give me five trips through the castle building up resources and money before I can move on to a new quest.  And all that extra spring stuff.  Is anybody going to hatch a Jack in the Box?  It takes 20 Unique stamps and I only have 59 so I'm thinking it's not going to happen.  All the spring pets seem way too hard to get.

But we have to keep using the flowers to get the eggs, how are we supposed to save up flowers?  Wish we knew when this ended so we would know when to stop d oing DQs and start saving flowers.

To craft all the wreaths and the two pets that require flowers, you need 170 of each flower.  So you have to play 680 hidden object scenes to get the flowers, assuming they drop evenly.  But you'll need to play more to complete enough dq's to get the other things.  I've had good luck getting suns and flowers from clicking on the butterflies.  And anything you don't get by the end of the event can be bought with diamonds.

I have extra pieces of the donkey and jack-in-the-box, so if anybody wants them, put them on your wishlist.

I have the bunny crafted, it's adorable and gave me a gold chest in the armor/banners room.  It takes 5 red food sacks.  I only need one more gold egg for the chicken and I can afford to craft it.  I have all the stuff for the other two but they're expensive so I'll wait on them.  Once the chicken is done i don't need to save flowers and I can craft the wreaths.
