Oscar, I loved Tales of Terror: House on the Hill CE. As far as I recall the bonus isn't very long but I didn't regret getting the CE as I loved the game and the collectibles (are there any ?).

I have been playing Shiver: Lily's Requiem. It is so colorful it doesn't seem like a Shiver game at all, which are known for their somber colors. Still it is pretty fun. I have been playing countless games of Battleship with the local mechanic. I hope I can win a game finally so he'll help me get the car fixed up. (This is part of the Shiver game and not RL in case you were wondering.)
Sun, I don't think you'll win the first time you meet the mechanic and play Battleship with him, no matter how many times you play. You won't win until you go back later in the game. I won easily when I went back.
But you can play it as often as you like in the extras.

It can be so frustrating when internet service is compromised and you are left at their mercy to fix it! Love it that stusue is commenting on games played when I know she is probably about asleep on her feet. Hope you get some much needed sleep.
Finished Mystery Trackers: Raincliff which I ended up loving even though it was harder for me than The Void. Just felt it was all over the place and coudn't always figure out where something went. Next up in that series is Mystery Trackers: Black Isle CE. Also finished Runaway Geisha PE ~ loved the music, story line and thought it was pretty easy but short. Also finished Dream Chronicles: The Chosen Child ~ don't know what it is about that series that baffles me. They're beautiful but for some reason, I always have trouble with them to the point of getting frustrated. The maze when you go through the three doors from the tea room and trying to figure out the color sequences of the jewels to open the doors in the Nexus. Sometimes the WT even frustrated me but I persevered and got it finished. Didn't get all the gem pieces but literally forgot to look for them after a while.
Started my next oldie, Treasures of Mystery Island and think I'm going to enjoy it. Like the format of the 3 or 4 areas to explore where you need to find pieces of items at bottom to combine and use at one of the various areas you are working on. Then they have a chart with lots of characters and you have to find items that correspond to their jobs. It's looks to be a pretty lengthy game and although it isn't timed, there is a running clock that keeps track of your time played.
When I see series mentioned that you all are playing, I think "oh, need to do that series next". Need to write them down on a scratch pad to keep track. Have a schedule of my games in alpha order so it's easy for me to see them at a glance and keep track of the order.

Lol, and here I thought your mechanic was a friendly guy!
HaHa! Wouldn't that be nice instead of paying money all you needed to do was play a few rounds of a board game for help.

Thanks stusue...It took me about 10 times to beat him. I went back to play 3 different times to play. Each time I got clobbered in the first game. At least I happen to like Battleship so I didn't mind.

Okay, I remember now that stusue said that Lily's Requiem had scrabbled up words in a HO scene. Can anyone help me with these? uCcast - Skcloehutct.

Oscar....Thanks for figuring out those two scrambled up words. I think I mentioned before that I have hard time with them. I remembered that you helped me out in Lost Halloween too.
Rats about this spooky sale. I finished up my card yesterday. Maybe I'll take a second look and just have 1 punch hanging at the end of the month.
