Re: Finish your games challenge - 2015

Sun is right, I did.  It was ok. I did not enjoy it as much as the earlier ones. And it was the SE.  It wrapped up just fine.

Currently I'm playing Final Cut True Escape.  Its well done as per, and there is some fresh aspects to the HO scenes, or how you do them.  The usual finding of film pieces and the morphs are in the HO scenes.   A decent story and some nice puzzles, although a couple that I have completed I really didn't know what they wanted done.  Just a fluke that I completed them.

It is another frigid day today  -35C. But will be -3C by Saturday.  bizarre

Went down to 37F last night.  Had to put blankets over the plants outside.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2015

I'm a little northeast of Tampa, it was below freezing.  I had to travel to shuffleboard tournament (1st place) and they had the blueberry bushes covered in ice, I've only heard of them doing that with the strawberries.  They were very pretty to look at.  I had my parka on.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Happy Chinese New Year everyone  Actually BFG is a little late as the first day was on Thursday the 19th.  A pretty nice sale and over the weekend too.  I see the new Nightfall Mysteries game is out.  I always enjoyed this series.

I see even Florida is getting their fair share of cold weather too.   I am really getting tired of sub zero and single digit temps.  I am tired of being indoors and craving a good long walk.  I'll take a nice 25F day with no wind right about now.

I finished Haunted Train: Spirits of Charon.  I'm glad I only spent 2.99 for it.  It was a little on the cheesy side and 2 of the VO were pretty bad.  Now Charon's VO was excellent.  You board Charon's train after your bride was killed on your wedding day to help him find 5 people who escaped death and bring them back to the train.  The SE ending is complete.  I Would not recommend the CE for this game.

I did the first two Shiver games last December so I going to play the 3rd one Shiver: Moonlight Grove next.

I tried a bit of Rory's Restaurant from GH. I din't like it.  It's M3 but there are people ordering stuff and you have to look at the side to see what theywant and then make those matches.  I had a hard time with it.  You see 3 customers at a time, some are impatient just like a TM, you can click on them to serve them first.  Interesting idea, but too hard for me.  There is a relaxed mode.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2015

Tirama/Wendy - the weather is definitely out of the norm.

I finished Final Cut True Escapade CE.  If you have the CE definitely watch the making of video.  It was an entertaining couple of minutes.  I really enjoy the extras with Eipix and the time and effort they put in to them.  The Souvenir Room doesn't take long to do but it was very entertaining as all the items were hidden.  For eg. you had to find a button to push for an overhead conveyor of hooks in one scene.  You item is handing from that.  They were fun to discover.  I got all the achievements except the one for Match 3, as I never did a HOP in M3, I though I could do it from the extras, I recall being able to in one of their other games.   I'm just not a fan of M3.  The Bonus game is uneccesary to the completion of the game.  A prequel as to why the killer did what he did, althoug it looked like he died in the prequel!

These guys do have a cheeky sense of humour.  This won't spoil anything imo,and you'll forget I said it by the time some of you get around to playing it!  lol But one souvenir you find is a matryoshka doll and it is in a cardboard box, in a cardboard box, in a cardboard box, you get it  Makes you laugh.

eta i missed the time achievement as well.  it was for under 5 hrs.

I got my wish today.  A nice 29F weather with no wind.  Took a walk and was breathless by the time I was finished.  Getting so out of shape.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2015

Woo hoo, sun, Sun! lol I really should be at the very least on my treadmill each day but alas I am lazy.

I finished off Vampire Legends The True Story of Kisilova.  I actually was not expected much of this game, don't know why, but I really enjoyed it.  It's short but it had great atmosphere and ambient sounds.  Puzzles and interactive HOs.  I had to skip one puzzle that I originally thought oh this will be easy, not.  I tried it and reset probably 10 times but it just wasn't going to happen. Anyways, two thumbs up from me.  Not blow me away or anything, but a nice game from a studio I've never heard of.

I've finished 23 games so far this year! (I think I trashed 2 of them)
