sunshinej -- I'm sorry you didn't care for LOST IN THE CITY. I bought it based on the reviews (I like noir). Of course i haven't played it yet.
It is just that the gameplay is repetitious. What you do in chapter 1, you are still doing in chapter 40. This game is story driven and now that I know the story I don't I care to replay the game again.
Speaking of noir, I thought I had a game with noir in the title. Anyone know?
Thanks stusue for the codes. I have 2 credits so going to take a look at the CEs. I am pretty sure I want Lily's Requiem. Not sure about the other one.
I did the puzzle in Drawn: The Painted Tower last night. Yay! Was nice to finally be able to move on.

I've been googling it for the past hour but can't find anything except lots of places to download the beta. I'm downloading the beta again now onto this computer so that I can play it again. I checked out my beta notes I posted here and it was one of only 2 games I've ever betaed to which I gave full marks and said that I would certainly buy it. I also posted that it was so almost perfect (only 1 typo) and so finished that I imagined it was about to be released ... but still no game.
Name : Nightwalkers: The Lurker, or I think changed to Nightwalkers: Drawn to the Woods
Developer: Media Art
Anyone know anything about this game? Heard about it? Ever known a game that was so polished take this long and STILL not be released?
I looked, but didn't find anything except the BFG beta for it.
I have been periodically looking for the second installment for True Fear and can't find out anything about when it is coming out. Goblinz doesn't even have a website or facebook page.

Hey, guess what, fellow Finishers ...
I've got BOGOF codes that work - I've just tried them both ...
ABE for CEs
GEORGE for SES
I'm wondering if these are codes for this weekend. They were added to RetailMeNot yesterday but with no expiry date. But isn't it George Washington's birthday not this Monday but the following Monday?
Well, these are NOT this weekend's codes. But this information is good to have because they are probably either next weekend's codes or BF is having this sale on President Day. So we can play ahead.
I don't have any game club credits, but depending on what CE's will be released next week, I might buy 2 and take advantage of this sale.

Nightwalkers: Drawn to the Woods
Sun, there are actually 2 surveys with both names. I downloaded both onto this computer last night and tried them both. Unfortunately, unlike when I played it on my Windows 7 PC, I couldn't play either version on my Windows 8.1 laptop. All I had to do was twitch the mouse and it went hurtling all around the screen. You should have seen how long it took me to exit each game, trying to get the cursor to stop on all the little spots I needed to exit! I'm glad none of you could hear the cursing going on when I was trying to do that!
Maybe that's why it's been held up - they're trying to get it compatible with Windows 8.1.
True Fear 2: Dark Falls Asylum
As for True Fear, I found the Facebook page for it. Part 2 of the trilogy is called True Fear: Dark Falls Asylum, and it has a 2015 on the banner so maybe it'll be coming out this year. It had been slated for an autumn (fall) 2014 release date but maybe it got lost in the ether just like Nightwalkers.
Anyway, here's the link. You can sign in but I don't know if you'll learn any more than I did (I'm not on Facebook and have no desire to be). There hasn't been a single response to everyone's question as to when it'll be released.
But I did discover that True Fear was Goblinz' first ever CE!
I also found info over at Pond Friends - bb-games has been in touch with someone from Goblinz and it looks like a late-February or early-March beta release. It's interesting reading as to why the delay so here's the link:
So there's hope!
But how long will it take for the 3rd in the trilogy to be released?

Exactly, Tirama! These coupon places seem to get BFG codes before they're offered at BFG! I wonder who gives them to them?
I'm going to check out this week's CEs and see whether I want to get them as CEs or SEs ... or not at all. If I decide to get them both as CEs I may get them on Monday. Or wait until next weekend and see if there's one of the 2 CEs coming out next week I'd rather get, assuming these codes are for next weekend.

I knew you could do it !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
As for a game with "noir" in the title, there's a game called Little Noir Stories: The Case of the Missing Girl, if that's the one you mean. I, of course, have it but, of course, haven't yet played it.

Thanks oscar and stusue for the congrats. I felt like this when I finally figured it out.
stusue...A big thanks for finding the info for True Fear: Dark Falls Asylum. I read the thread at Pond Friends. It was interesting to read. With the beta just around the corner, that makes it seem more concrete. I was starting to be afraid it was going to take longer.
At least you know what the hold up is with Nightwalkers. It must be like you said the game is not compatible with win8.
Ah, yes that is the game I was thinking about. Little Noir Stories: The Case of the Missing Girl. I haven't played it either.
