Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I did the plane quests and started getting resources to build the island buildings while I was waiting fir the museum to finish.  Now that the museum is finished I have a TON of quests.  I'm enjoying this game.  I'm also glad that I kept pkaying a bit each day.  I built up a lot of coins and resources and collections that could be turned in.  You need a LOT of resources to play the mini games to get te blue prints.

It very well may be a lot of fun once you can play, but so far I've been able to play the actual update material for maybe an hour.  The rest of the month has been spent waiting for customizations to be completed.  First the museum, now the koi flags.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

Sorry Tirama.  I bought the koi flags a long time ago, so that was done.  I just got a quest this morning to update the Toy Shop (Dinhammer) to pirate.  I'd done that already so I just switched it.

Can you use your plane?  If so I'd gather resources.  You'll need a LOT of them.  I did 2 foundations, built one building and now I have to wait until I can get 29 screwdrivers.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I can't finish fixing the plane until the freaking koi flags are done.  But whoop de doo, I did finish my auction dq.

So I've been waiting almost 7 months for an update, 3 weeks for a fix to the update, 5 days for the museum to finish, and now 32 hours for the koi flags.  I'm beginning to wonder if I'll get to play before they issue another update.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I already had the koi flags, too, in fact I had to take them down to be able to get into the plane and fix it.  I haven't had a quest to update the museum and when I read it took so long I didn't bother, just started playing the quests in there.  You only have to go in there once to get the quests started.  And you could have been doing the new cities while you waiting on the museum, they're not really connected with each other, as far as I can see.  I did start the museum once the new update was issued, it's probably almost done, I haven't checked.  I haven't bothered with the pirate theme yet, haven't been asked to yet.  I've flown to a few cities but I haven't even checked out the other new ones on the regular map.  There's plenty to do for now, I just don't have the time to do it.  And I have to get over being pissed at my other game and just have fun with the one that has the plane.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I don't see the point in 'doing' the new cities until I have a quest to do so.  To me, that's just busy work and a delepletion of resources.  I like to play quests.  Besides, I've heard that the new cities are glitchy as well.

My koi flags are done, the plane is repaired, I've visited Italy and Egypt once, and I'm workig on the museum sign.  Had to stop playing because I need to get into the butterfly sanctuary and it's in the process of being customized.  I'll be able to play again tonight and should be able to finish the rest of the museum sign.

What I really need to do is find the info on the Valentine quests and figure out which collection takes the least effort or is the least tedious to complete.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

kah, kah... I finish all quest for museum and I finished all the buildings ..... And one tip:

I think you have enough energy for blueprints - which you will need in order to make buildings, and they are found in the mini games, then make a large cache of fuel because of new questions related to the museum, you will not need energy but only fuel ...

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

Those pirate buildings are ugly. Ugly, ugly, ugly.    I've customized all of Breezy Bay and put the buildings back to Ye Olde English style until the game forces me to make them pirate.    I still have the animal shelter to customize in Paw Paw Grove, and most of Dinhammer to do.

I'm not going to rush through the quests.  This could be the only update we get all year.  I'm just glad that for the time being I'm at a point where I can decide if I've played enough instead the game forcing me to wait.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I don't like the Pirate theme either.  I think I have only 1 or 2 more to do in the whole game (unless we have to do the new buildings at the museum).  There sure does seem to be a ton of content in this update.  I'm noi where near finished!

We will at some point have to customize those new buildings. The achievement goes up to 31 buildings.

I juts leave the pirate theme up to help keep track of which buildings I've done.  Once a community is completely customized, down they come.
