Right now my energy tank is 1770. Since I can buy the stew it seems to make miore sense for me to use the Shrine and stews. I think I have about 300 crystals right now.
More sense than what? Buying the elixir? Buying fungus soup?
My energy bar is at 1,110. I can see that there's still achievements out there that will give me food that increases the energy bar so I'll wait to earn those. I've got 552 crystals, so only need 248 more.
I've upgraded all of Gizmotek to level 5. I'm trying to keep my coin balance at 500,000 but anything over that goes to buy stew. Still haven't used the skycrystal four leaf clover charm. I might go use it now. My shrine will be ready in about 24 hours and using the clover charm now will give me a full energy bar just around the time the shrine is ready to go. And I'm not in any danger of leveling up and losing the energy.

I seem like I'm playing a different game than you gals. I'm at level 50, my energy is only in the 900s, I only have 200 something crystals and this game sucks. The only thing I've been doing and will get to do in the forseeable future is play Stone Circle, Gnome Village, Glitterstone Mine, and Sacred Grove over and over and over and over to get the 50 to 100 resources I need out of each one to play the mini games over and over and over. I feel like when I turn this game on every day but I finally have a big bonus and I need it cause I have less than 200,000. I just give it the minimum attention it needs.

I'm at level 51 with energy bar of 1110, only one level "ahead" of you. But you've leveled up from playing a lot of fungus hut, you've spent crystals on the pegacorn, you've spent coins on mini game resources. When you were up North, you possibly weren't signing in each day to get your daily bonus. That money adds up.
You play the game much differently from me. I can count on the fingers of one hand the number of times I've played mini games without having a quest to do so, I bought the pegacorn with cash, only once did I give in and buy mini game resources.
The biggest difference in how I play is early in the game, I played the quests pretty much in the order they arrived no matter how pointless I thought they were or how much I didn't want to hand over the bolgins to characters I didn't like. Sometimes those quests led to relics or door tiles. The faster you get those things, the faster you earn achievements and get that shrine up and running.
With the latest update, I'm playing the newer quests trying to find lines that lead to relics because there's achievements. I really want that elixer of haste.
Now lily is way ahead of me, I believe she's finished all the quests, and she plays very differently than I do. But I had to start over last year because of my hard drive crash. Once I run out of new quests, I'll be moaning and groaning about having to get 100 or so molecular lens.
Actually, I'll probably play Stone Circle over and over again today. Unless I decide to go for the dried snowbulbs in Dawnshadow Lake.
But I am having fun with the iPad game, snarking about Shelsea.

Wendy, do all your games have the same quests open? If so, that may be contributing to the feeling that you'll be playing the same stuff over and over and over and over. Maybe concentrate on just one game. When you're out ofenergy, play something else.
I had both my MC games at the same level (and in MC levels ARE indicative of who is ahead) and it was not a good idea. Now I keep both games separated by at least an update and only move one game forward at a time. It helps lessen that didn't I just do that feeling.
But I think the most important thing with free to play games is to not get caught up with comparing your progress or level to anybody else. In the BoomZap games, level meaning nothing as far as ow close you are to finishing.
And even in MC, where you can only level up by completing quests, one person at level 35 may have played many more hours and have a huge amount of coins and inventory, and another may have gotten to level 37 by selling everything in their inventory. I'd rather be the person at level 35 even though the guy at level 37 is technically ahead.

All 3 games are within one level of each other. I really need to start over with Shaggy but he's the furthest ahead. I finally had a small breakthrough with molecular lenses today. Had a couple of 5 drops in 2 games, got enough to play twice on the level where I need 2 trophys so now I only need to play once or twice more to get to the next level, I should be able to do that when I get my shrine again. I wonder if the Shrine works offline? I had to make sure my games are logged into the player I want cause hubby didn't change the internet over yet so I won't have any until next week, probably. Can't play Midnight Castle at all offline, ART and AK you can play but you can't trade in collections. Hubby has a cell phone that I can use as a mobile hotspot, maybe he'll let me use it for a few days, otherwise I'm also phoneless until I get internet.

wendy - levels mean nothing in AK. They don't indicate how far you've gotten. Somebody at level 50 isn't necessarily ahead of somebody at level 49. Levels depend on how much experience points you've accumulated.
A person could be leveling up by cashing in collections for experience points, but hasn't upgraded building or opened HO scenes or found many door tiles or relics or whatever. Don't look at the levels of each of your games, look at what you've finished.
I've got a lot of cash on hand, but I still have a lot of things to buy for the castle.
If all your games have the same quests waiting to be completed, you're not going to be enjoying it very much. It will feel like you're doing the same thing over and over playing the same scenes over and over because that's exactly what you will be doing. Why not play ONE game until you're out of content and go back to the others when you're sitting around waiting for an update?
As for the interent, if hubby is dragging his heals over something that is important to you, YOU do it. After all, if he's leaving, it's not his internet. As you pointed out, he already has phone service, so he doesn't have a problem.

I activated the orb yesterday and decided to plat Dawnhope Cavern to get the 10 dried snowbulbs the Forester wanted. Srop rate was good, I only had to play 11 times to get what I needed. Alas, that quest was the end of the line and didn't lead to any other quests coming in.
I used a lot of sandwiches so I could play Stone Circle about 13 times. The drop rate for molecular lens sucks. Often I only got 1, sometimes none, I think I got 4 once. Today I'm hoping to find time to play some mini games to finish up quests and get an idea just how many more lenses I need. Next shrine session, I think I'll go for the glow in the dark yarn.
Fed the Dark Chest 4 more times and got another orb. Just one more orb to go. The chest has cleaned me out of woven gold earrings and wants another 8 of them. I wish I'd get a quest sending me to Dawnshadow Lake and maybe I'd be able to pick up some earrings.

On the PC game, I played mini games in Gildenhall, Fungus Hut, Troglid's, and Squabbit Den. These minis completed quests which brought in more quests. Still don't know which will lead to relics, but one of them will lead to opening another mini scene.
Also played 4 minis in Pharmacy. These completed no quests and I still need 80 molecular lenses.
On the iPad, I finished the line of quests that lead to feeding the Dark Chest. Fed it once but don't have what it wants for another feeding. I loved writing about Shelsea's abduction.

Okay, I admit it has been awhile since I opened up my Awakening Kingdoms game. Today when I went in it said I needed to do a update from my game manager and kicked me out. I looked all over my game manager and saw no updates for this or any game. I also went to the download tab and manually checked for a update and it said no updates available. So any suggestions on what to do now. I was thinking of deleting game and reinstalling, but would hate it if my progress is wiped out.
