Sorry, been gone a few days. yesterday, I had to have 2 more fillings put in. My mouth was full of bad cavities because I hadn't been in so long. Been slowly taking care of them. Have to make a new appointment for yet another one, this one may need a root canal we shall see. Hopefully not.
Anyway, I've been on a Sims 4 kick the last few days. It's a fun game in spurts. Can't wait for an expansion to come out to hopefully flesh it out some. So far it's not as good as Sims 3 was.

I'm no good with games like that misscatlady. I tried a SIMS and no one would move into my town. I tried a VIRTUAL VILLAGERS and they all died! lol

I'm with Lily on those, not my cup of tea. That's a good thing about Township, no crops die if you don't get back to your town all you get is the odd push message saying hey The people of your town miss you.
I did buy: Twilight Phenomenon The Incredible Show CE and Christmas Eve Midnight's Call CE in the sale today.
I keep forgetting I have a whole other folder on my desktop with games I have purchased from GH, Legacy, Gamersgate, Steam and Playrix, plus a couple of freebies!)
I'm off to do some office work, I need to traipse down to the yard tomorrow and do some filing and meet with the boss. But before that I'm meet my bestie for brekkie!

I went from the very top of my list with 9 Clues to the very bottom and I started Witches Legacy Ties that Bind.

Oscar, have you ever tried Farm Up? It's a FTP, the first one I got hooked on. Never had any need to spend money. The crops do die, but they have different growth rates and different times that they're "good on the vine" so to speak, so you can plan what crops to plant depending on when you think you'll next check in. You can also spend a couple gold and your whole crop will be revived. You can also use a 4 hr. unlimited energy thing, it's crazy when you do that, talk about a clickfest. I absolutely loved it but I ran out of quests; they've updated lots of times since but I've just never gone back. My farm is so pretty, though, I used to spend hours just rearranging stuff to make it look nice. I have a secluded garden that I just adore. Maybe I'll have to try to grab a screenshot of it and post it here. I tried Township when it first came out but just didn't get into it.

Hi misscat...My daughter is a big Sims player and that is her assessment too. #3 was much better that #4.
oscar...You done with 9 Clues already? Did you like it to the end? I also have that game.
I bought Beyond the Unknown: Matter of Time SE in yesterday's ERS sale. I also looked at Reveries: Soul Collector and almost everyone said it was too short. Haunted Legends: The Stone Guest has that dwarf character that reminds me think of those movies that they bring out every St. Patrick's Day - Leprechaun or it's sequels. I hate those movies and won't watch them.

Wendy, talking about your farm in Farm Up made me think of my farm in Farmville on FB. I remember when it was all the rage and the girls at work were trying to get me to start ~ just didn't think I wanted to spend that much time on something. I think I started with Farm Town first because it was smaller, liked that and then added Farmville. Because there were so many more players and everybody would add everybody, it didn't take long to get whole heartedly into it. I loved my farm (farms) as well and spent so many hours planning, playing. Some of the designs people would post of their farms were unbelievably intricate, having depth they looked so real. I seem to remember even having some animals that I added that I gave names to chosen by my GK's. My GD would come over months after I stopped playing and asked if she could see and play with her animal. Castleville was next which was a different premise but still fun. I loved them both but the quests and everything you needed to do got to be so frustrating that I had to get away from it ~ much of what you all describe re your FTP quests sounds and feels eerily similar.
It's almost like an addiction that you have to force yourself to quit, much like my buying games. Now playing them is a different matter; I don't seem to feel the same level of frustration when I'm playing my BFG games.

Guess I have never tried a Sims game. Are they the expensive games you buy for the Play Station, Xbox systems. Never had one of those although my GK's now have an Xbox, I think. I have a Wii and I bought a Mario Brothers game for my GS to play when he comes over. He's pretty good but gets frustrated when he messes up and always wants to start over. Noticed that when he was really little and thought, oh no, another budding perfectionist but he's better now. They seem to love game playing as much as I do. When my boys were little, we had an Atari or some ancient system that they would play Mario Brothers on. Whenever they went to their dad's on Friday nights, I would get in there and try to play it but never could get to the higher levels or get the Princess??.
I'm not too much into TM games and don't really know what builders are, although I do have a Virtual Villagers game plus maybe a Royal Envoy and got the one Puzzledone loved, The Promised Land. I started a couple but they seem like they are more time intensive and that's probably why I never went back. Remember liking the Chocolatier games and Plant Tycoon; now that I have more time, may have to restart one of them again.

teeitup...The Sims are computer games that you can buy at Walmart. They run about $40.00 (?) maybe misscat would know the price better. You can also get expansion packs for them. Don't know how much they cost. Like Pets or Careers or college life that you would use in addition to the main game. My daughter would build the neatest looking houses and have families living in them. Couples would have babies and they would grow up and get older and eventually die. In the meantime you need to tell your people to eat or go to work or take a shower or if you have exercise equipment for example to go exercising. I would watch her playing a bit so understand a little bit about the game. She always had to use the desktop computer because her laptop wasn't enough for the game plus the expansion packs.
Oh, Super Mario Brothers is one of those games I was not good at. I have trouble with any type of Platform games. Husband was pretty good at it back in the day when we had a Nintendo.

Wendy...I keep forgetting to thank you for the free game code for Awakening: Dreamless Castle. I had this game on a CD along with Reincarnations (I think) anyways I used the code and now I have a copy of it in my game manager too and a extra plus was I got a punch for it.
