Re: Awakening Kingdoms

My 3 games somehow synched up as to when the 7th day is.  Two games had the same day, the third game was 2 days off, but now they're all the same.   I got a moonfell soup, 5 diamonds, and a bundle of specials.  Not too bad, but they keep teasing us with that picture of a food bundle.
I've had a Pegahorn quest for ages now that needed 4 more songbird eggs.  I've never made it a point of trying to do that quest, figured eventually I'd get the 4 eggs.  I've never gotten any of them and today, after I failed to find one again,  I said "F it" and bought the four #%^*^$ eggs in the auction.  $3500 apiece but I don't have to look at that stupid quest anymore.  Enough is enough.  I'm sure the very next time I go to Rose Garden I will find one, ain't that the way it goes.
I'm using my Shrine right now, I love how you have 3 hours.  That's really way too much time, but at least I don't feel rushed, I can look through my quests, come post in here, no pressure.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

Where do you see a picture of a food bundle Wendy?  I love the Shrine too.  I've actually used it a couple of times for the full 3 hours but usually I'll use a couple of energy tanks and quit.  It really helps when you've got lots of stuff to find at the expensive HOS.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I've never seen a food bundle, either.  During days 1 through 6, the daily bonus teases up with teh message of what we might get on day 7.  On my iPad game, I usually wind up with the totally useless bundle of specials or bundle of building supplies.  This week my PC game received 5 crystals which made me happy because I'm saving up for the elixir of haste.

The Dark Chest is asking for 8 Snow Kiss flowers and I only have 16 total.  The feeding before it devoured 10 blueprints.  I suppose the Dark Chest was BoomZap's solution for people who play 24/7 and were complaining that they had so much inventory, but it's a killer for people who just didn't start playing from day 1 and took tme off between updates.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

The food bundle picture is on Day 7 of the log in scene.  It looks so tasty and it has a soup right in front.

I thought that was a picture of all the different things you could win.  I'd be happy to win the soup or the crystals but I usually wind up with specials, building supplies, or sometimes mini game resources.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I wish I could remember what triggers Seth, the Mayor, and Triffledore to request that their buildings be upgraded from level 3 to level 4.  I know I can upgrade without a quest, but then I miss the conversation they have with the steward.

I've followed several quest lines hoping to trigger an upgrade quest, but they either dead end or result in a quest to play mini games I can't access without upgrading.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I just go ahead and upgrade when I have enough extra money.  All my Gizmotek is at level 4.  I need to activate my shrine to day but hubby's been sick and throwing up all day so I've had to take care of him.  He goes through this every now and then, sometimes we have to take him to the ER if it doesn't stop.  It seems to be getting a little better, but he's been throwing up every 10 or 15 minutes for the last 8 hours.
Anyway, I still have a zillion quests for snobulbs and medicinal honey, and glowing wool from Gnome villiage.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

My other game got the shrine today.  It's working out pretty well, it takes about 3 days to fill my energy and I have 3 games so I try to do it that one has a shrine each day.  Today I worked on curing the Pegahorn, down to one more ingredient.
The wording on my log in was different for all three games.  On one it said if I check in on the 7th day I have a chance to win moonfell soup, another said a bundle of mini-game resources, and the third said I had a chance at diamonds.  Do I only have a chance or is that what I'm actually getting?  I never noticed that wording up there before.
I can't seem to get Life Fairy runes anymore.  They used to be a given, at least 8 for 10 tries, now I haven't gotten one in at least 8 tries.  And they're too expensive to buy more than one of them.

It's new.  Started with the last update.  My iPad has the old screen.  Still waiting for an update on iPad.

Every day it will tell you a different item that you could get.  In the eight weeks I've been playing the iPad game, I've received 3 bundles of specials, 2 bundles of resources, 1 bundle of mini game resources, 1 moonfell soup,  and crystals (5 of them).  Is there anything else we can get?  Fungus soup would be very, very nice.

I've started buying stew in the PC game to get the achievements for food purchases.  I've got 339 crystals, only 461 more to go so that I can buy the elixir of haste.  The iPad only has 86 crystals.  That pegacorn quest will sit there forever.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

Yeah, my newest game I didn't bother with the Pegahorn, spent the money on fungus soup instead.  If I decide to start Shaggy over I'll save crystals for the elixer of haste.  Is the 339 all of them that you've gotten in that game or have you used some?  What level are you on?
