Today's giveaway looks good.  We do have some MC players here.  Darn!  I didn't see yesterday's.  I would have tried for that.  Oh wait.  It's FB.

I FB.  I haven't been home since '97 and it helps me keep touch with my family.  I'm getting to see videos and pics of all the little ones in the family.  And since I have a different prepaid phone number every summer it helps people keep in touch with me.

Carlos and Jessica announced the Android release of Gummy drop, which was odd because that was noted on LAST WEEK's POND NEWS.  There are how-to videos for Gummy Drop. 


GUMMY DROP

New York City is available.   Allows you to explore the greatest city on earth and rebuild some of the world's greatest landmarks.  Plus, you can now use the new "boat" feature.  The boat allows you to ship your resources from one city to another so you never need run out of resources again.  There is one in each City and you can ship from anywhere to .... anywhere.  While you're playing the NY/SF levels, be on the lookout for the upcoming Gummy in the Bay video series.  Carlos and Jessica went to both San Francisco and New York to check out the landmarks, get fun facts and more.  So, get Gummy Drop on your Android today.


Mousecraft

This is a game about a Cat scientist whose name is (I didn't catch it) but Carlos loves it because of some "quantum-physics thing".  Guess I'm going to have to play the game and get the mouse's name.  The mouse has built a mouse-powered machine so you have to guide the mice to the cheese to help him do this invention he made.  ("Do this invention he made" are NOT my words but Carlos'.  Yes, it sounds .... not right).  It's not about the cheese - Jessica! (says Carlos). It's about the mouse-powered machine!  It's like lemmings meets Tetris and mice.  You can use different shapes to get mice to the goal but you can accidentlally kill the mice which Carlos did and felt really bad. You can pause the game to take time to place the shapes and also there are gems you can collect.  There's a weird side-story involving the cat selling them to some black-market figure.  (The mice or the gems?)  It's a great, fun game (per Carlos) but he hates accidentally killing the mice. 

I actually ALMOST demoed this game and then uninstalled it.  Guess I'm definitely going to have to demo it now!

This broadcast of POND NEWS was actually really funny at the end .... when the taping WASN'T over with but Carlos thought it was.  Worth watching - lol. 


Because it's Christmas, both Carlos and Jessica will be out next Monday and the POND NEWS will be broadcast next Tuesday.  Also, Jessica disliked Carlos' Santa hatbut still made him hold hands (why?) while wishing everyone a very Merry Christmas.
