Damn, damn, damn.  I'm doing Gizmotek with WendyDarling and I refilled my energy and used a keepsake.  I was doing some high energy HOs and I still had over 8 minutes left when I ran out of energy so I used another soup to refill.  Got the last FIND item as my keepsake ran out and still had 450 energy, time to take a break for awhile, do a round at the castle, and what happens?  I leveled up.  I'd been kinda keeping an eye on it, but thought I had plenty of room to spare but I was playing higher level HOs so I guess they gave me more experience than I realized and I was watching the timer instead of the stars.  450 wasted energy, and during an event, no less.  Gawd, I'm dumb sometimes  I am over halfway through, though, I have to find the Skycastle earrings and shields, and the enchanted mirror, 5 or each.  450 energy would have put a good dent in that quest

So far, I'm having good luck with the Yura quests in the iPad game.  And for the last two weeks, my weekly present has been Moonfell Clarity Soup instead of the building supplies bundle.

I got all the festival souvenirs in the minimum number of visits.  We won't talk about how many times I played Skyfleet Docks before I realized they weren't there.

What's been giving me a bit of grief is getting the relics and teh mini game resources to drop.  But I'm so happy that I finally got that stupid Trident to drop so I don't have to drag Quinn to Coral Cove with me any more.  I think I played that one close to a dozen times before I got the trident.

I'm working on the find fairy dresses quest.  Like the first time I did this quest, the drop rates are the pits.  I've used 752 unites of energy and still need to find 2 more dresses.  Of course the drop rate for the dress in teh cheap locoation (Rose Garden) was 50%.     So far Coral Cove, which now costs me 80 to play, has a drop rate of 25%, and Rosetum Gardens has a drop rate of 20%.

This is quest 9 of 15, so I'm not in panic mode yet, only food I used was a stew.  I'm trying to hold on to my soups until I have a larger energy bar to fill.

In my PC game, I let the energy bar fill to max before I activate the shrine, then play all the quests that send me to a specific place.  If I still have energy, I look to see which mini games have quests and play the scenes that give resources for that mini. 

During the days I'm waiting for the shrine to recharge, I work on the mini game quests and the "give me" quests.  Lastly I feed the dark chest.  Fed it 4 times yesterday, all I got was dark slime.  Don't have what it's asking for and I'm not wasting energy to go get it.  Eventually a quest will send me to the place and I'll get what the chest wants.

 

If you've been reading the diary, you'll know I finally got all those dresses.

The musical instruments have been easy so far.  Had the mandolins already before I opened that quest, tambourines dropped just about every time I played Skyfleet Docks.  Need 1 more gemshorn.  Drop rate hasn't been too bad, hope to get the last one next time I play. 

Then I get to drop a bundle on more hideous decorations and after that camp out at Dawnshadow Lake for a bazillion paint brushes.  But I've got 7 days left, I think, so I'm not worried.  I'm hoping before the festival starts I can get rid of some other quests and find some more relics.

After Yura, I have to avoid building cloudspire meadows for Ria so I doing trigger the Leodici timed event.  I need a rest from these stressful timed things.

Tirama -- I started to read the Diary but had to give it up until after the holidays.  I love what I've read so far!  Can you say neck deep in leafy dresses?  Remember waaaay back when we needed 2 for a quest and it took forever?

Wendy -- It sounds like you're in pretty good shape in all your games.  Since I've finished all the quests I'm just making my own game -- trying to get 30 (minimum) of each object in each collection.  The Fairy Queen Cards drop sooo slowly!
