Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I finally got the first batch of glue for the peddler.  Still need another 5 for the second pedestal.   I got out of synch with my energy bar and lost 99 units of energy when I leveled up.

However, I did get the last Crookshank portrait I needed for Raphael.  I've only played Gobholm 6-7 times and I got 4 portraits!  In my PC game, I had to play well past earning the 5th trophy before I was able to complete Raphael's quest.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

Sorry about losing the energy Tirama.  Back when my tank was 700 that used to really hurt.  I can bleed energy all day in ART but it is soooo hard to get in AK.  I'm really glad that you finished the portraits for Raphael.  i remember you saying they just wouldn't drop for you (in your PC game).  I'll have to try and start reading the Diary again.

I used the Shrine twice for essentially the whole 3 hours each time -- using lots of food -- and haven't gotten all that much of the things I wanted to get to 30 of each item in each collection.  I don't have a lot of bolgins so if we have to update buildings It'll be hard.  I'm reluctant to turn in collections because of that darn Dark Chest.  Guess I'll have to try and auction some stuff.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I let my energy fill up and then activate the shrine and first play any quests that want me to visit specific locations.  If I still have energy left, I then look to see which mini games have quests and thengo and get teh resources to play them.  When my energy runs out, I'm done.  Then I check to see if I can feed the chest.  I've got half a million bolgins, but I haven't done much with the castle, only what Greg  asks, or what is needed to unlock a mini game.  Keep hoping I'll get quests for fixing up the castle.

I activated the orb last night and played Sacred Grove 6-7 times and couldn'y get those carved keys to open whatever-it-is.

My iPad game is being pissy about giving me the trident at Coral Cove.  And I'm just about to activate the Yura quests.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I had around 500,000 bolgins until I had to start upgrading the GIZMOTEK buildings. Now between that and buying sandwiches I'mm back to the (high) 100,000s.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I finally got to the Shrine with Shaggy.   I got several achievement awards today and one was food for +30max and a refill.  I only had 7 energy when I got it and I had just gotten a quest for the last 3 orbs so I used it.  It gave me almost 950 energy and it took the entire amount to get the 3 orbs.  So now I have a quest that asks me to activate the orb but I want to wait until I have full energy to do that, right?  So days from now.  At least I finally have it and I  have a gazillion quests open
I was bored yesterday so I upgraded everything in Gizmotek to Level 4, it took me down to like 60,000.  Then right afterwards I got a quest for 300 of each of the building supplies, no problem, but then another quest for 999 building supplies right afterward.  I still had plenty of the black stuff but only had a few hundred of the other two.  I didn't have to spend too much on the puppets I needed for the golden oad, but you need earring sets for the silver stuff.  I bought everything I could that was listed for under $1000 but I have a feeling I'm going to be working on that quest for a long time.  But it will eventually fulfill itself from doing the HOs.  And then I had to spend 27,000 to find out where the last 3 orbs were, so I'm pretty darn low on bolgins.  I've got collections worth money I can cash in, but that's the game where I can't look at my messages so i can't auction anything, I don't think I would get the money for it if I couldn't read the message.  At least Gizmotek is level 4 so i won't be asked to upgrade anytime soon.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

If I didn't have bad luck, I'd have no luck.

I was waiting to get a little more energy to play a hidden object scene and leveling up.  BUt when I enetered the game, the daily bonus screen came on and that made me level up and I lost another 40 units of energy.

I triggered the Yura quests before completing the map series and getting the treasure vault open.

I completed the frst two Yura Quests.  When I went to do the third, getting souvenirs from Skyfleet Docks and the Black Bull, there are NO jigsaw puzzles at Skyfleet.  The model train IS at the Black Bull, so it's not a question of needing to complete a quest to trigger these items to show up.

Skyfleet is also missing the sun tambourine and the engraved mandolin, and the story book doesn't appear in Dawnshadow Lake.

I haven't seen these problems mentioned on the BoomZap forum and trying to find iPad specific issues on the BF forums is daunting.  I did find a post claiming that the find quests still don't work properly in the Yura, Leodici, and Gizmotek times quests, so IF I evr get to that quest, once again I'll have to leave the iPad running and pray there's no power failure.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I was just coming in to whine, but you made me feel much better, Tirama.  I went and looked up your missing items, they all appear after the Fairy Queen's Gratitude quest, if you can find that one in your quest list.
I've almost leveled up by accident with the daily log in, but not quite.
I triggered Gizmotek by accident with WendyDarling.  I knew it was the trigger and I had been letting it sit there while I was working on getting the shrine orbs but I logged in and saw "New Quest" SITTINg there and just automatically hit it  Somebody oughta hit me  I just used 2 entire energy bars, and the second one was filled with a 100+ max energy soup, and then about a dozen sandwiches to FIND 5 flowers each in Apricus, Rosetum, and Coral Cove.  At least I found the snowglobes I needed for my orb quest and I needed lilies for the unicorn and/or shrinking the mushroom, and I got some Radiant dust from Rosetum so it was a nice FIND quest for me.  I have to FIND 5 each of gems next, I'll be going to Mystic, Glitterstone, and Rosetum again.  Glitterstone has Invention fuel, Mystic has Fairy Queen portraits that I'm short on, and Rosetum has lots of good stuff, can always use more Radiant Dust and I never turn down a Leafy Dress, it's so Wilma Flintstone, lol.  I might even need some orb stuff at Glitterstone.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

I still have the Fairy Queen's quest.  I THINK that gives you a fill up of energy, so I was waiting to do that one.  If that doesn't do the trick, then I'm going to have to try deleting the game and reloading.

But I don't see why that quest would put Yura stuff in the hidden object scenes.  The model trains are in the Black Bull already.

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

Fairy queen's gift was just the junk down at the bottom BUT it did put the good stuff in the hidden object scenes.

Thank Yura it did.  I don't want to have to start over again.  I want to marry Greg

Re: Awakening Kingdoms

Thank Yura
I've got all the gems from Mystic and never did get a single fairy portrait, glad I wasn't having to FIND them.  Now I have to decide if I want to use a refill, eh, I'll go play a round in Midnight Castle and think about it.  I'm 1285 there.
