Sun, one of the puzzles you found a diamond shape piece. It went into a gate that already had 3 diamond shape pieces in it. You needed to do the pattern by swapping the pieces. The pattern was not intricate at all and you didn't even need to rotate pieces. Way basic imo. But I agree, that was a good feature re the casual and hard.
Wendy, personally I don't enjoy the ho/adventure games on the iPad. I prefer the larger screen and I don't like to scroll.

I tried to beat Level 100 a couple more times, and I ended up beating it with 8 seconds to spare Weird how you always seem to solve the puzzle when you walk away and then tell yourself "just a couple more tries, then I quit". I almost always get it the second or third try after I come back.
I made some big progress in Black Mirror and stopped and saved right before going into a new area. I will be playing it a bit in a little while.
Wow, I just did something and all of a sudden the print is HUGE. I know how to change it back but I never know how I did it. When my palm hits my touchpad it does all sorts of weird things, even if I disable the touchpad.
I downloaded a few M3s from GameHouse, Rainforest Adventure, something like that, is one of them, I remember somebody liking it. Also The Far Pavilions 1, it seems to have been well liked. And The Wizard of Oz. I won't start one of them until at least tomorrow, maybe later if I devote more time to Black Mirror.

I decided to play the new MCF, so I got my detective badge on and plunged in. The first lock puzzle went well but the second I hit a brain fart trying to get the third stone. After a considerable amount of time spent trying to find "green", when you play it you'll know what I mean, I did take a peek at the SG which was just a little clearer than mud, but did give me that aha moment and a clue as to my next step. I managed to finish it from there. I had just gotten to the third lock when I decided I should head to bed instead. (nice rhyming sentence). It has been fun so far. There is one aspect to the story and how it is being portrayed that I find a little perplexing.

I tried Rainforest Adventure M3 but didn't really like it. Of course I just said that about Imperial Island 100 levels ago. The objece of every board is to turn all the tiles gold. I don't want to worry about every single tile, and I want to turn it a different color than gold. It just seems like it's all backwards. I guess they wanted to make something different, but it's just a little out of my comfort zone. At first I had a lot of trouble with matching, it kept matching the row above what I wanted, so I have to concentrate on making sure the cursor is at the bottom of the tile. I would play it if I didn't have anything better to play, it would be alright, but it just goes against my natural instincts of how to play.
ETA: I just tried Legend of Gallant, another M3. The board and cursor were all jerky, it was unplayable. I'm on the desktop, I'll have to see if it plays better on the laptop.

Working away, the third lock puzzle took a bit of doing but gold star for me. The fourth Oy vey. I got a few things and hit a wall. So I closed if for the night and will revisit it today. I have to say a lot of the other game play is quite easy. Oh you need a drawer pull, turn and oh there it is sort of stuff. Nothing terribly difficuly. You find all this evidence per character and go to a deduction board but you don't have to do anything except push a deduction button. Boo, lost opportunity there. The story is meh. in one section after the deduction it says so and so is cleared of guilt and I'm left thinking ok how did they arrive at that? I am used to these games being quite challenging and am not finding anything but the lock puzzles (which are a titch easier imo I remember prior puzzles being greater head scratchers) have any degree of difficulty. I have read some people's posts that these puzzles have no logic but I think they most certainly do, once you have the key. The third was lots of fun.

I hate when you have to get all these pieces to solve a puzzle to open a chest and all that's in there is a screwdriver Why would you go to all that trouble to lock up a screwdriver
I finished Spirit of Revenge: Cursed Castle. It was really good the whole way through, good story, easy to navigate, lots of puzzles, really good and varied HOs, and quite long. It ended well and I can't even imagine what the Bonus Chapter would be. I'm glad I wasn't looking for morphs, the rest of the game was good enough that I didn't want the distraction. This is a great game to get the SE of unless you just gotta have them morphs.
They have a BOGO today but I'd like to catch one where i can take advantage of BPM, that would probably be Dec. 29th. They usually have some kind of sale around then. I have 2 CE replacement coupons that have to be used by end of year, and a PCC I changed with Tirama, so even if I don't get a BOGO to even out my card I'll still have enough for one free game. Listen to me, evening out a card for next month already Off to see if GameHouse has Sinister City

I can't remember who mentioned it but I played the demo of ABRA ACADEMY and just finished it. Basic old-style HOG with an occasional very easy puzzle thrown in. It was okay but I doubt that I'll ever replay it. There were some very, very tiny objects and some others that were very well blended. And the one that had me (almost) tearing out my hair -- a "lemon" that sure looked like a lime to me!
I haven't even bought the newest AWAKENING game or the newest MCF. I'm looking (hoping) foir a BOGOF that will hook up with BPM too Wendy.

I'm following you lily! Lol
I just bought a 7.5" acer android for my mom for Xmas. Does anyone have anything like this and what do you think of it. I picked it up for $99. She uses her laptop a lot and her Kobo (Canadian reader like Kindle). This I thought she could uses outside on the deck and while watching tv. I may have started her down a bad road here! Lol, I did get her hooked on a Ninetendo DS, as well as games! Omg I'm an enabler.

We have a couple of tablets, oscar. They're great to watch TV on, Netflix and most networks have an app you can watch some of their shows on. And Youtube and Facebook. And the Kindle reader. And all the free game apps. Farm Up plays on some tablets and some of the HO games. If you go through Amazon it will tell you if it will run on your device. I like to play card games on mine cause it's big enough for my eyes. It's usually kinda hard to watch TV outside because of the glare, but hubby watches in the tub, I use it in bed, I look up recipes in the kitchen, I play music, it should hook up to stereo. The weather apps are really goodl I really like watching TV on it because I can have it so close so it's easy to see.
Gamehouse had Sinister City and it sounds pretty short so I will give it a whirl, short sounds good right now.
I ordered a new computer monitor from Best Buy in the middle of the night. I've not been wanting to spend the money cause I could use the bedroom TV as a monitor, but I caved. It's a 24 inch Dell on sale for $99, half price, with lots of good reviews. i have a 19 inch now, so it will seem huge. We can always use it for Netflix, too, in the computer room/man cave, it's bigger than anything but our 32 in living room TV. Don't know what I will do without all those pretty, sparkling pixels, though, games will seem so dull now

Here I am, back again. I just tried another M3, Alchemy Quest. To get the power ups you have to purchase them in the store, they take different amounts of the items you've matched. A lot of them. Nowhere close to being able to afford one yet. So far no bonuses have shown up on the board for matching 4 or 5 of a kind
You have to clear the gold tiles off the board but there are also several other gold icons so it's really hard to see what ones are left
Then, when your cursor is on a tile it changes to a lighter color so I'm always thinking it is a gold tile, too, when it isn't. So it's a no-go for me. I have both Fishdom 3 CE and Depths of Time CE, but I want to play a Gamehouse one so I'm getting my money's worth.
ETA: Just tried The Wizard of Oz M3, it's by Grey Alien, who did Fairway and Unwell Mel. Since it's Oz, of course you have to bread the yellow brick tiles, but unfortunately not only are there yellow icons, there's orange ones, too, and it's just too much of the same color. Why do devs want to make icons the same color as the tiles you are looking for
. So another no-go, and now hubby is up so playtime is kinda over, at least for awhile.
