Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

wendy, I cut way back on my playing time for MC.  I'm two updates behind but much happier poking along.

I should have won 100 diamonds in the tournament, but the game didn't upload my score.  Was very upset, didn't even write my diary, but I'm over it now.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I went to play some more of Campfire Legends this morning but I hadn't shut down the game last night and it froze; I had to task manager to get out of it and when I went back in I was at the beginning again.  At least I hadn't played very far so it was easy to catch up to where I was.  I played until I got stuck on a fuse puzzle, connect all the little lines.  Usually I'm pretty good at those but i just couldn't get this one.  I finally called hubby over to help and one of the first things he did was rotate a piece.  I hadn't realized they rotated, no wonder I couldn't solve it  But once he was started he didn't want to stop so I let him solve it for me, makes him feel good.  Now I have my game back but he's got music on, and with creepy games I like to play at night when it's quiet so I'm done until this evening.  I'm loving this game, just like the others in the series.  It's a sad story though.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I just had a wonderful moment.  Decided to play Vampires: Todd and Jessica (saving Campfire for late night) and I didn't like it at all.  Since it's a Gamehouse Funpass game and not one I own from BFG there was no angst, no remorse, no "Well I bought it so I need to finish it or I wasted my money".  I just uninstalled it.  It actually would have been a waste of my time and money to keep playing it.  I'll just play something else I like better.  I FunPass.  Off to find something I like better.

Tirama -- When you said you didn't get 100 diamonds was that in MC?

Wendy -- Good for you!  That Fun Pass is already working out for you!

I just finished playing SPOOKY BONUS twice!  But can I count it since it's not a new, unplayed game?

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Just finished Campfire Legends The Last Act.  Loved it  Plot twist at the end.  Need to play the other two games again.  I still have the bonus chapter to go, hopefully that will explain things better.  Can't wait til next Halloween, maybe I'll have to replay them sooner, but I do plan on replaying them every Halloween.
I was just over to GamingFriends to put a post in Barre's thread.   Haven't been there for ages, pretty much just came here over the summer.  I like the other forums alright, but it seems like we're more into the actual games here, and that's what I like.  Everyplace else seems like it has one or two threads about games and the rest is all personal stuff, it's the opposite here.  We have a little personal interaction, a couple of threads, but most of our threads are about games.  And I love games!  So... I'm going to finish up CL today or tomorrow morning, I have Spooky Bonus and the Gizmo nonogram to work on, and I plan on playing Evil Pumpkin and Witch's Pranks this week, maybe Shadow Price of our Sins if I have time.  Maybe I should throw in some Zombie Solitaire.  Is there any other Halloween themed card games?  OH, I forgot Cursed House, def have to replay that one.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I picked up Evil Pumpkin PE today for $5.  I had a 75% off code from GH.  75OFFOCT14 if anyone is interested. Hopefully I will get Mystery Age Dark Priests done today or tomorrow and then I'll play this.  I don't have a shift at the new job until Thursday so I will be working from home for the other place and will have a little down time.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Wendy I'm still debating about the phone.  It's about $46 a month and I don't pay for the cell.  I must do up a budget to see where my money is going.  It's a little different over the winter for the gas bill and the electric as my out building has electric heat and I have to keep it at least on the lowest setting to keep the moisture out.  I don't need it warm as the only real thing I'm using it for is storage and my gym equip is on the main floor.  I do wish it had plumbing I would rent it out in a snap and then I would only have to work the one job. It's big, 20x20 two floors all nice an finished.  I could probably get $800-$1000 plus utilities but it's just not feasible to plumb.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I've been using your code, Oscar, how did you get it?  I bought that Drama Queen Murder, didn't particularly want it but it was only 60 cents with the coupon.  I just got an Aveyond double pack,  I already got some from BFG but they didn't have these two, the bundle was $5.99, so $1.50 with the code.  (of course now I have 5 games of them and haven't played any of them yet) I filled up one card the other day, and I only need 2 more punches to fill another one.  I need to play Evil Pumpkin soon, so I can decide if I wANT to buy it, it's nice to own some seasonal games.
Gamehouse doesn't seem to have any ERS, Elephant, or Eipix games, right?  Any other major developers that they never get?  I'll just save my; BFG credits for those devs.  I need to try to get into Emily, lol.
Hubby rearranged the living room last night but he hasn't hooked up the desktop anywhere.  I was looking forward to finishing the bonus chapter of Campfire Legends.  We had a lovely dinner, brought to us by Chef Boyardee.  He has a gazillion cans of it in the pantry and we're going to have to move someplace cheaper when the lease expires so if it's eaten it doesn''t have to be moved.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Hi all

RL has been very busy but I hope things has settled down a bit.

I haven´t finished many games :
World Mosaics 7.  Replay, still very good!
Floria. Fun
Runaway Express Mystery. Just OK but the graphics were very good.
Warlock- Curse of the Shaman (Not on BFG). Rather hard but very interesting (It´s the only way I can describe it). I really recommend the demo!
Fantasy Mosaics 4.  I liked the changing of colors, but I like World Mosaics Chroma better.

I´ve made a good deal on Gamers Gate some weeks ago. I bought L.A Noire Complete Collection for €4.80 ($ 6.08). To my surprise I was directed to the Steam site for the download and there the price was €39.99 ($50.62)!!!

I also had a LOL moment when I played Warlock. I had some trouble finding a rolling pin and took a short break helping my daughter preparing her evening meal. When I opened one of my kitchen drawers I noticed my own rolling pin and thought : Oh good, there it is!
