Was going to get Clutter IV in today's sale, but took a look at all the tech problems so going to hold off for now.

I didn't get to start Phenomenon: Outcome Collector's Edition as soon as I wanted to.

I accidentally started to update from Win8 to Win8.1.  Then computer kept nagging me to finish installing.  I kept telling it later, but it kept reducing the amount of time I could postpone the inevitable until I was at the point that I had 15 minutes left and then ready or not, it was going to do its thing.

I don't really notice a difference, that is, once I figured out where the zoom control was.  I have mine set at 125% and the update put it back to 100% which is hard for me to see at 1920x1080 resolution. 

But everything is good now.  I think I finished the first chapter.  There's 5 chapters in the main game.  Id' like to finish this game this month and then start last year's MCF.

 

I've finished the second chapter of Phenomenon: Outcome Collector's Edition.  I feel like I'm on track to finish it and Mystery Case Files: Fate's Carnival Collector's Edition this month.  That's my mini goal along with finishing more games than I buy this month.

hi guys long time no talk Things have been busy for me and I keep meaning to check in but haven't had a chance until now at 1:05am haha. Hubby is asleep beside me and I have insomnia like usual. So here's whats new...

I was on the free game of the day site a couple months ago and I was reading a review and they mentioned these sites where you can get free games everyday. So of course I check them out and they have a lot of older games but they are all games that I either wanted and never bought or that never came to mac so I have gotten all of them. You have to make sure you uncheck all the boxes or else you get a bunch of software that you really don't want so its kind of time consuming but I have ended up with a whole bunch of games, some great, some horrible but free.

I prefer myplaycity because the installation is easier but also jenkat has this annoying game manager that I don't find helpful or interesting. But I have been playing all sorts of TMs and old HOGs. I guess many of you have probably played most of these games since they are quite old but what a deal. Just make sure to READ the fine print and UNCLICK everything or else you will get a bunch of added crap that I guarantee you don't want.

On another note I am currently playing some newer HOGs...well some new, some older that have been clogging up my game manager...

Right now I am playing
Jo's Dream Organic Coffee 2-hated the first one but this one is better. I like it because you decide how fast or how slow you level up. Even if you are slow, you can advance.
Gardenscapes 2 CE-I love these games but I have to admit its like deja vu and Im not sure another one of these was really necessary but it is fun.
Haunted Manor 3-Painted Beauties CE- I am NOT enjoying this. I loved it at first but there is sooooo much back and forth and Im not on casual and you can't change difficulty settings. There are too many rooms, plus paintings you have to keep track of and its so long and tedious. I can't wait to finish it. I can't even believe Im still playing it. Oh you have morphs but good luck finding them!
League of Light-Dark Omens CE-figured since I wanted the new one I should play this one and what a gem! Its long but fun and done really well. Usually I don't quite get all the leagues of light like the order games but this one makes sense. Its a good one. You collect owls  & other things. love it.

& lastly I play FTP games...Awakening, American Road Trip, Agency 33 and Dark Manor (sometimes). These are great time killers. I swear I will put my ID # in here one day so you can all add me

I hope everyone is doing great. My husband and I are still waiting for his work authorization to go through. I really thought that once we got married, he would just get approved and he'd be working already and we would be able to move out but no we are still waiting and living with my parents. Its definitely great that hes here while we wait but this is sooo not the situation any of us wanted to be in especially now that my mom had to retire because her shoulder never healed correctly from her elective surgery. 4 adults and 2 labs in a 2 bed 2.5 bath house. Oh well. It just makes us stronger and keeps us busy with all the things that my mom thinks of to keep hubby busy.
