Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I never get crazy bidders like that, you really attract them.  But I usually price my stuff for buyout, except for stuff I'm listing especially for DQ.  Do you get the best prices right after midnight or more towards the evening when time is running out?  Better to do 1hr or 6 hr?  Thinking about it, this time of night would be good for auction ending cause working people are getting ready to go to bed soon on the east coast.  The only thing I really hate about DQ is that you don't get credit for it unless you check in before midnight and trigger the message.  That's not right.  You should get credit whether or not you check in.  AK runs so muc smoother than ART.  I always get credit for daily check in there, no matter what time of day, in ART it's a joke for me.  I almost never get credit.  I'm going to try to keep my data use down so I don't have to buy anymore before I get home, although I can get 1 GB for $10 if I need it.  So I might not even bother with checking in on ART for the next 12 days.  I think I probably use a bit of data between the auction and the keys, when I'm in AK I just barely use the auction, and nothing else.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

In ART, you need to be in the game at the top of the hour for the daily bonus to appear.  I don't see how you could get credit after midnight for a dq because that dq is probably already gone and just a display remnant the next day.  The notifications don't always come in on their own.  I make a note of what time the auction is expiring and get in there soon after.  Search on the name of the thing I bid on and the notice shows up.  Same thing with stuff I sell.  I search on my seller's name and emails come flooding in.

I've tried doing 1 hour actions at the end of my day, but a lot of stuff either didn't sell or went for opening bid.  I start listing any time after 11:00 PM and list for 12 hours.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

I got very lucky today.  55,005 for a submerged (that has to be a typo on the part of the buyer) and 20,000 for green flowers (no typo, Prlla just pays insane prices for whatever object she desides she must have).

I think Wendy's right -- you attract crazy bidders!  Good for you!  If you still need art of writing I listed one at 6:50 pm and will try to list every hour until 11 pm.

Re: Antique Road Trip: American Dreamin'

Well, if you're interested I can sell you anything for small prices, just to be on ART at the same time. I do not know if there's purchase price, and then I sell you something and you sell me for the same price something else....
I have all the gold still....

The only thing I need is an update.  Just completed the 119th auction daily quest.  supposedly there are only 120, so at midnight I'll receive my last one.
