Re: Midnight Castle by Elephant Games

Tirama,
Thanks for the Starlight.  I put Eternal Light on for tomorrow.  Can't believe how greedy these creatures are. Your generosity helps enormously.  I seem to be doing rounds over and over,  either to  Mozart's Requiem or to  "Roll Me Over In the Clover,"  to keep track of the number of rounds. You remember:  "This is number one;  the fun has just begun..."   Yesterrday I did seven.  (On my way to heaven.)

Mila,  I love hearing about different parts of the world.  My ancestors came from Sweden,  only made it as far as Minnesota,  which isn't much better.  Never learned to like  Lutefisk,  though.

Thanks so much for the offer.  I'm currently trying to pacify the Witch.  She wants the Ring of Irrepressibility and the Cursed Doll.  Will keep you posted as things come up.

MIla - I was able to craft another Book of Dancing Shadows, so put it on your list.

Tirama,
Thanks for the Wild Wail.  Does either you or Mila have a  Sparkling Mist You're willing to part with?  Otherwise,  I'm saviing coins to open 2 more @%$%&  areas,  each about 8000 coins.  There seem to be more people closing their games;  can't say I blame them.  I've been writing poetry on Twitter,  and that takes time too.  I fondly remember the good old days,  when all I had to do was go to work every day.

Apparently the next tournament is on Monday,  11am Seattle time.

Nope, no sparkling mist.

I think the problem with MC is that it's always available for playing, unlike the games where you have to wait for your energy to recharge.  So some people play 12+ hours and have lots of inventory and coins, and people reading the forum feel they have to keep up and keep playing and playing and get bored and/or burnt out.  Because if a HO is ready to be played and you don't play it, you're falling behind the people who are playing.

I kind of miss playing it, but worry about getting sucked into doing multiple rounds of HO's each day.  I've been trying to stay away from the forums.  I might start transferring some of my inventory from Berengaria to TiramaSue2, since that game is under my primary user and is further along. One of the problems with having multiple games is that MC somestime doesn't shut down all the way.  Something to do with it getting confused switching between two user profiles on my computer.

In my TiramaSue2 game, I gave away my hedgehog egg so if I decide to resume, I'll have to get that one again.

I know my problem isn't with the game, it's with me.  I'm able to take my time wiith AK, to go slow and really appreciate the effort that has gone into making it and not care that all my friends are ahead of me.  Actually in AK, since leveling up isn't totally linked to quests, I can' really say which of my friends is "winning".

In MC, with leveling up directly tied to quests, I know exaclt where I stand in relationship to others, which for me is a double-edged sword.

All I'm sure of at this point is that I'm happy I've been able to play, concentrate and enjoy some of the HOPA's I've bought.

Re: Midnight Castle by Elephant Games

I play MC because my AK wasn't "stable", and after several crash, I play only MC, and thats why I'm ahead in that game.maybe in the next update the price for crafting will be lower, and on turnament we can win diamonds and buy things we need.

Re: Midnight Castle by Elephant Games

I'm going to try and play a little each day, but if I find myself doing numerous rounds of HO's each day, I'll have to quit.  I want to spend most of my game time playing AK and finishing the games I bought.

Tirama,
Does that mean you're willing to accept gifts again?  I'm on Level 36 now,  surprised to see the Chamberlain back.  How did that happen?  I liked him better as a bat.

I'm going to give it a couple of days and see how I do.  If I decide to continue, I'll shut down my Berengaria game and send invites to those friends to my TiramaSue2 game.

I can't remember who changed the Chamberlain back to his human form.  The story is so convoluted.

Re: Midnight Castle by Elephant Games

I entered the tournament with both games yesterday.  Berengaria won 4 diamonds.  Every time I spun the wheel with other game, I lost points.
