Wendy...I have been playing Puppetshow games in order.  I finished The Lost Town and i'm now on the Return to Joyville.  I get what you are saying about no hint button.  I had to check the walkthrough a few times too, but mostly just wandering around I usually found a HO scene that I missed.

Wendy -- Your post brought me up short!  I didn't have a clue about BRIDGE TO ANOTHER WORLD: BURNT DREAMS.  I do own it but (of course) haven't played it.  I looked at the reviews and they seem pretty good.  Hope you enjoy the game.  I have a short list.  I'll let you know what I actually bought later.

I still remember all the scenes in PuppetShow Lost Town, so I must have finished it before, but I'm most of the way through so I may as well keep going.   I'm not loving it, not hating it.  The plot has mostly disappeared.  Oh, that's right, steal the child's soul to remain young and beautiful.  Can I have one of those young and beautiful soul sucking machines?  I'm getting to the age where I could use one and I know a few pretty, bratty kids I could use it on

ETA:  I finished it.  It was pretty short, of which I was grateful but I bet everyone who bought the CE at full price was pretty perturbed.

I started Posh Boutique.  It's a 'drag' type TM, I prefer the 'click' type.  I'm not really liking it but I'll play it for awhile, until it gets too hard.  I wish it was a little less TMy and you could take more time to pick out clothes.  Maybe I'll have to switch to Boutique Boulevard instead, Posh was just close to Puppet Show in my GM. 

In the BOGOF I got 4 CEs:

Whispered Secrets: Into the Wind CE
Dark Realm: Queen of Flames CE
Forgotten Kingdoms: Dream of Ruin CE
Fierce Tales: Feline Sight CE

I still have GCCs waiting to be used so I could get all these as CEs.  But I'm still not getting the Danse Macabre CE or the Grim Legends 2 CE.  In spite of all the great reviews, I wasn't wowed by the extras in either game and didn't like either enough to get the CE.  But I'll check out both games again when the SEs are released and when I'm hopefully feeling better. 

I didn't mind the gameplay in Grim Legends, I just didn't like the graphics, I think mainly because I found both women in the demo rather ugly.  I was also really disappointed by the difference between the first Grim Legends game (in my top 3) and this one, both in graphical quality and gameplay.  However, the second one was made by Grey Wizard Innovative, whereas the first one was by Artifex Mundi itself, and the difference is obvious.  I can't believe AM let GWI make the second in the series after their first game was such a masterpiece!  ** sob **

I simply didn't like the demo of the Danse Macabre CE.  I didn't like the way you simply got in a carriage to move from place to place.  There was no adventure involved, which is an aspect of any HOPA I love.  However, the graphics were okay and I liked the evidence board.  As I said, I'll check out both games again when the SEs are released.

In the meantime, I just have to decide which SE I'm going to get with an expiring PCC.  Methinks Death and Betrayal in Romania: A Dana Knightsbridge Novel as the other CEs I want as SEs aren't yet available.  Oscar, I know you didn't like the CE but I quite liked what I played of the demo and added it to my Possible PCC list.  I didn't even get the last one.  I can't remember why but I think I was simply bored when I played the demo.  But I think this one might be good enough to use a PCC to get.
