I started True Fear Forsaken Souls. It's pretty creepy. It's goofy, though. You can tell it you don't want the tutorial but it still brings up a box that asks you if you want it. I told it no again but it still gave me a tutorial in the HO scene. It told me to pick up an item, I kept trying to pick it up but nothing happened. So I looked down at the list and it wasn't even on the list! Kinda takes the scary away, lol.

I'm putting Manor Memoirs Collector's Edition into the finished column. The manor is all decorated and I'm now just playing to get all the achievements. I'm only halfway to earning 500,000 and I still need to have more sales in the pantry but the game isn't giving that hidden object scene to play.
I'm getting annoyed with the misnaming of things, such as asking me to find a lid and what I really need is a tire!
A stapler is not the same thing as a staple remover. A harmonica and a harp are two different instruments.
A quill pen and a fountain pen are not the same. This one really annys me because in one scene it asks for a qill pen and you've become so used to clicking on the fountain pen whenver you get that clue but this time there is a quill pen and clicking on the fountain pen gets you nowhere.

I'm really liking True Fear. Has anyone else played it yet? I don't remember anyone talking about it. It has a a really good storyline. Very realistic plot, except for the ghosts, lol. Lots of notes, some good cutscenes, diary entries that explain more than the notes do. Only thing is, it's a "To Be Continued" game, didn't realize that when I got it. The 2nd one was supposed to be out last month from what I've read, and I haven't heard anything about it. I know I'll be getting it if it does come out. I want to wait until dark to make it scarier but I don't want to quit playing!

Well, True Fear is in the finished column. Regretfully. I didn't want it to end, and it actually didn't. It sucks not to have an ending but I want more game, so... I googled the makers, Goblinz, but I couldn't find out anything about Part 2. At the end of the game is says "Coming, Fall 2014".
Don't know what I'm going to play next. Off to browse.

So I decided on a PuppetShow game. I have all 5. I'm sure I played the first two so I started the third one, Lost Town. It starts at a cave, with a mechanical monster kidnapping a tourist's child. I'm not sure if I played it, it seems familiar, but I've only played a few minutes so I could have just demoed it. It's been quite awhile since I played a PuppetShow game, I did remember that the inventory was kept in a fan. How utterly annoying that is. You have to click on it every single time, you can't see what's in it so open it unneccesarily quite a few times. And there's no HINT button OMG, it's like the old days before strategy guides and walkthroughs. I don't know if I can do it or not. The first puzzle was pressing images of a cavepainting we had seen previously. I went to look in the journal and there's no journal, either I had to go back and look at the painting again. I don't know if I want to work this hard Maybe I'll go check if the 4th one is 'modernized'.

I played True Fear back when it came out in April. I thought it was a fantastic game and have been waiting for part 2. I have been checking all about casual game frequently in the upcoming game section to look for it.
Wendy...I also bought Campfire Legends: The Last Act PE version at the sale price. I bought the Hookman at 9.99 and also The Babysitter for 9.99 back when they first came out. I'm Glad to get the last one for $3.99.

I went and read the reviews of Lost Town, it wasn't even much mentioned that the hint didn't work outside of the HOs. That's how they got you to buy strategy guides and CEs back then. I've kept playing Lost Town cause most people said the game wasn't very long. I've vaguely remembered most of the scenes, I want to quit but I'm almost halfway down the page on the walkthru so I may as well keep on, it'll be done by tomorrow.
Sunshine, I got Last Act with the 40% off over the weekend, so under $3 I'm hoping to play all 3 before Halloween. And Witches Pranks.

I finished Dana Knighstone Romania and thought it was a big stinker. The first one was definitely the best in this series. I really did not enjoy this game at all. It seemed all over the place, puzzles were the basics and the controls seemed a little teetchy. The sundial puzzle I persevered at and got it, I had to or I would have had to start over and that I was not going to do. Nothing new, definitely not worth a CE as it had no extras, most achievements were get this done, or to here in 30 mins. A silly achievement, you'd think the devs would want you wandering around exploring what they have created. And the epilogue was only 30 mins long and unnecessary. A big waa waa.

The code from the weekend still works this monday morning. I used my 2 GC and got 4 SE games and a total of 8 punches.
Labyrinths of the World: Shattered Soul
Fierce Tales: Feline Sight
Witches Legacy: The Ties That Bind
Death & Betrayal in Romania: A Dana Knightstone Novel
Oscar...Sorry to hear that you did not like the latest Dana Knightstone. I didn't think that the CE seemed worth it. I hope I made the right choice getting the SE of Dana Knightstone, because it was between this game and Mystery of the Ancients: Three Guardians. I figured Three Guardians has been out since January that I could wait a little longer for it to become available as a Daily Deal.
