I've been culling my list. I started off with 150 or so, I'm down to around 75.
I've been keeping track each week. I give at least one key to anybody on my list asking for keys. Then I hand out keys to those who reciprocate. It doesn't have to be even-Steven. I know some peopel don't have that much time to spend on the internet. But if somebody's antique rating has gone up a lot and they haven't sent even one key all week to me, they're toast.

Wendy -- There should be a minus sign (white in a red circle or vice-versa) next to the item on your Watch List. Just click that to remove the item. I keep track of the keys that Wendy and Travoltas give me. I rarely see them with red !s so I usually end up giving those to ShagCat.
I want to cull my list too. I'm hoping for an update this week. If we don't get one I think I'll just start removing names. I'm guessing neither of you accepts new friend request?

I've only accepted 3 friend requests since the last update way back when. All 3 were from people I knew and 1 of those deleted me. Other than that, I decline. I've already got the achievements for friends. If people cull me from their list and I feel like I need more friends, then I'll start accepting friends again.

I getting tired of the auction DQ's, but sure love the crazy amounts people are willing to pay me. Today I sold an American Achievement medal for 1200; true strike for 500; man on the moon stamp for 776; white house stamp for 1000; silver lazy susan for 1150; and a lace flower for 8050.

I have so much stuff to sell but I'm just too lazy to list it anymore I just go get my star, give some keys, then get out of there again, usually. Right after midnight is a good time to list though, people like me want to get it done.

I "owe" so freakin many keys that I'll never catch up! The only things I've sold recently are posh pashminas and leisure portraits. Those always fetch a good price. I have tons of stuff I'd like to get rid of but I just can't work up the ambition to list anything.
I don't accept friend requests. I feel sort of guilty about it but I want fewer friends, not more.

Do you let the friend requests just sit there unanswered or do you decline. I was declined the other day, made me feel bad I'd rather be ignored, lol. For my Shagcat game I look at available people every now and then and ask one if I like their name. The other games I have too many friends. When I get home I'm going to delete a lot. You don't have to worry about giving me keys. Sometimes I give other people keys and sometimes I just dump them all on you and Tirama. I donl't really need anything, but it's free I wonder if we'll have an event any time soon. Nobody needs gold.
Sometimes I'll use a keepsake and do a half hour of daring deerstalkers. Only one film and they sell for 6500. Same with the scarf, it actually sells a little higher, but I cash in the hat collection more often.

Thanks, wendy. Lily listed the DQ for me. What a surprise, nobody outbid me.
Listing things to sell during these DQ's is like playing the lottery. All you need is an item and a dream. Somebody has bid 10,000 on the Hagia Sophia I listed.
Regarding friends, I decline them. I don't need all those e-mails cluttering up the mailbox.
Regarding keys, I'm mostly asking for keepsakes. I figure, should this game ever get updated and I actually play it again, I'll always be able to use a keepsake and not have to worry that I'll get interrupted during the 30 minutes it's active. Or if I just can't standing playing for 30 minutes, I can bail whenever because I'll still have a pile of keepsakes.
