How'd you like Robinson Crusoe Sun?  I really liked that game.

I have one left from my initial 6 oldest for September then I'll add three more.  But...I'm going to play something a little newer and start it right now.  Not sure what though.

I'm almost finished with Love Chronicles and I did finish Adelantado Book 1 which isn't  my oldest unpla;yed game but I do have Books 2 and 3, so...
I really liked the first RC, but went back early this year and just couldn't get into the second one, quit it after just a little bit.  Will have to go back to it later with this challenge in mind.

I have 31 of 33 rose petals so I should be almost done.  This game has some HOs that are find 15 tiles, stars, etc.  I really like those for a change, it's easier looking for just one thing.  And you just see little bits of them, so you have to really look closely.

Re: Oldest HOPA Game Challenge 8/21/2014-9/30/2014

Finished MCF: 13th Skull CE and wow, what a game.  I loved everything about it, the story, the music, the puzzles; never thought I would get the one on the cabin door on the pirate ship figured out so I could get in and get the last piece of the note.  Finally after looking on the forum for a while, found out how to do it as there was a glitch in the hint about which letters to reverse.  If I had checked Margie B's WT a little more carefully, she pretty much spelled it out, too.  Used that WT a lot more than the SG in the game.  Found 20/20 of the crown insignias but only 4 of the gold insignias which you only discover how many too late in the game to go back.  Definitely will replay some time in the future with a cheat sheet so I can get them all.  There was just so much to do in this game that one time through isn't really enough.

Going to concentrate on HM: Civil War and not sure whether I will play Escape from Ravenhearst next in the series or go back to Rite of Passage: The Perfect Show CE which I started in August.  Our weather got down to 45 last night which is really cool for us since we hit 92 earlier in the week.  Loving my extra game time now as I'm really in the mood to get these games marked "finished".

Robinson Crusoe finished on 9/30/14.  Had to hussle to finish it before the end of last month. A really cute game, but some of those items were hard to see.

I threw in Puppetshow: Souls of the Innocent bought 2/4/11 into September as well.  I thought I played it before, but only the first 15 minutes was familiar.  Finished 9/28/14.

Teeitup...MCF:13th Skull was my first CE I bought at BF.  I always thought it got a bum rap and was so underrated.  For me I loved it too.

Charlaine Harris   It's a 2 parter and only the first part was ever made, but it was really good.  I loved the intro m;usic.  I really liked the demo of Mountains of Mystery but I didn't like it much after that.  I think I played "Inbetween Land", if it's a floating island kind of thing.  It was all right.
I've really liked all the MCFs, they're so challenging.
I started Posh Boutique.  I played Airport Mania and loved it so I got into a Daily Double TM buying frenzy for awhile.  Bad Wendy  I played a few boutiques, it's the drag type TM which I don't care for.  With each new location you lose all your upgrades  It just introduced a new techniq!ue, you click on 2 or 3 people that want the same thing and you can drag them all over to the station.  Not!  I just couldn't get the hang of it.  I managed it once or  twice but the rest of the time... it seemed like you had to set them down on just the right pixel for them to stay there, and I just wasn't hitting the pixel.  So if I can't manage that technique there's no way I'm going to meet the goals.  And in that level I didn't pass, of course, and it didn't give me any of the lousy bit of money I had earned  So I quit

I switched Inbetween Land out.  I thought I'd play Mystery Age Dark Priests and discovered I hadn't played The Imperial Staff.  so I added it in and I'm playing it.  Not a hugely challenging game but that's ok, I don't imagine it is very long.  Some of the items are very well hidden.  This must have been one of the first frog games around.

Wendy I have read good things about Charlaine Harris so I'm looking forward to that one.  I don't play a lot of TM games.  The Diner and Wedding Dash games are about it.

Well, got Hidden Mysteries, Civil War and Forgotten Riddles: The Moonlight Sonatas finished but was unable to play Haunted Hotel as it would not save my player name.  Played for about an hour and when I went back in, no name.  Tried 2 or 3 times and looked in forum and some others had similar issues.  Sent off an email to CS and got a coupon code for SE/CE since I didn't care to troubleshoot.  HM:CW was ok, glad it was short and started to get bored with all the riddles and puzzles in FR:MS but glad it's done.

Re: Oldest HOPA Game Challenge 8/21/2014-9/30/2014

Sunshine, was wondering if this challenge is going to be ongoing or were you just going to do it for a month or two. The dates in the heading made me wonder if we need to change it although this whole forum was set up to finish our games but I like making myself tackle the oldest ones.  With that being said, I think I'm going to continue with my MCF personal challenge and next game is Escape From Ravenhearst CE.

My next three oldest games to complete before 10/31/14 are:
7. Azada: Ancient Magic (7/31/09)
8. Mystery in London (8/01/09)
9. The Stone of Destiny (8/08/09)

Starting sometime in late July 2009, they started the $2.99 Daily Deals, and I have quite a few of those I'm skipping in this challenge because they are arcade, C/B, and kids' games that I thought my GK's might like and just don't feel like including them.  Some of the M3 I will work in from time to time for short plays.
