Wendy I'm sorry you aren't liking the game, I remember liking it quite a bit.
I'm still working on Top Secret Finders. Past couple of nights I've gone straight to bed I've been so pooped. The weather has been lovely and I have spent all my time outside cleaning up the yard and hauling out all sorts of junk. I'll have to get the junk man to come by and haul it off.
I'm off to start my day, I have a busy busy week ahead. Have a lovely day all.

Thanks for the info, StuSue. I can get online in the summer almost every week, I just have limited data so I can't really download games. But if I can get a bunch downloaded before I go, I'd have no trouble with the authentication part. That way I wouldn't feel like I was wasting 6 months of the subscription. I only get 2 or maybe 3 played a week, so 50 games would be more than I needed since I still have plenty of BFGs. I really want to wait until I get home in a couple weeks, though. Maybe I'll email them and ask. Peggle might be a good game to play when not feeling well, you just aim your shot, nothing else to do. Are you still with your family? A few months before my MiL passed we spent 3 weeks in a campground in her area. We went over every day but didn't do anything special, you could tell she was happy just having her boy back in the house, that's all she wanted. So don't worry about going "out", just your presence should be enough for your family.
Oscar, I don't know why I'm not liking Alien Town so much. Maybe just because I've taken all week to play it, sometimes you just lose the "flow". I don't know what I'm doing anymore and I don't like the way the town/map is laid out, I don't always know which way to go so I'm just using the map and jumping. When I really like a game I usually walk unless it's clear the other end.

Wendy - You asked that somebody remind you to get a CE today.
ANd just a reminder to everybody, it's the last BPM of September. So finish your cards.

Thanks, Tirama. I just reactivated my membership and I've narrowed my choices to Nevertales Shattered Image and the newly released Danse Macabre. The ratings for Danse are 23 5stars, 6 4stars, and 2 3stars, which is pretty darn high, and no low ratings at all. Of course it's just been released but still, very impressive. Nevertales comes in at 39 / 15 / 7 / 10 / 3 so it has a few low ratings. Danse is Eipix, Shattered is MadCap, I like them both.

This is just so stupid, not being able to decide.
2 hours later...
Well, I finally decided. I acquired Nevertales Shattered Image CE. I really like their games and they have a lot of extras. It was a tough choice, though. Now I can close about 20 tabs that I have open, lol. Can't play it for a couple more weeks, though. Two weeks from tomorrow night I'll be home again. I feel like Meg He says he's going to put me on a pedastal and adore me, don't know how long that will last but at least I have some money this year so I can leave his a$$ if he becomes an a$$

I finally finished Forbidden Secrets Alien Town. I liked the premise of the story and the ending scenes were great. For the exciting finale it turned from the game into a movie and it was cool seeing her run through the scenes I had just finished. The very ending of the game... well, I didn't quite understand it, I don't know if it turned out one way or the other. There are unresolved questions that aren't answered and looking at the forums it seems the CE ends the same way and the bonus game is a prequel. The HO scenes were pretty good, it had regular interactive and also 'put the item back'. The zoom-in areas weren't indicated for me so that added a little challenge. There was a morph in every scene, even in the SE version, and some of the were quite hard to spot, but the cursor changed; that's the only way I found a few of them. The pictures and font in the diary were quite small, and you had to refer to it for several puzzles, that was very challenging. Don't know why I didn't like it that much but I'm glad I stuck it out to see the ending, even if I'm not sure how it ended. Off to decide what's next... Decided on Origins: Elders of Time PE from GameHouse. That way I can have a BFG game going at the same time if I want to.

Anybody playing Awakening Kingdom on any device, don't download the latest update. Read my post in the AK forum.

I was looking at some CEs today to see if I wanted to get any in this weekend's sale. I'd played a little bit of the demo of Forgotten Kingdoms: Dream of Ruin CE and really liked it, despite the really bad reviews it had received (although most of the really bad reviews were before the updated version that fixed no BBTs and other issues). I had to either get 3 CEs or none to end with filled punch cards for the month. So, as Danse Macabre: Moulin Rouge CE ( 4.7/5 and 97% recommendation) and Grim Legends 2: Song of the Dark Swan CE (4.1/5 and 95% recommendation - the first one is in my top 3 CEs ever), I thought I'd get those 2 as well as the Forgotten Kingdoms CE. Thank heavens I played a bit of the demos first!!!!
I didn't like either of those 2 CEs and couldn't even finish the demos. I can't understand the great reviews. I'd betaed Grim Legends 2 and noticed a change that I'd suggested had been made but even that wasn't enough for me to get the CE. I still hated the graphics and still thought that the people looked ugly, especially the women. I didn't like Danse Macabre at all but couldn't work out why. I think it was just that you don't walk from location to location but rather you take a carriage. I really don't like that as I much prefer to wander around a location and get to know it. I was so unimpressed with both games that I doubt I'll even get the SE as the collectibles at least added some fun to both games. But they weren't thrilling collectibles, especially in Danse Macabre as they were all the same and very easy to spot. At least those in Grim Legends 2 were harder to spot. But Grim Legends 2 didn't have any morphing objects and Danse Macabre only had 14 in the HOPs.
I quite liked the Fierce Tales: Feline Sight CE demo and would like to get that CE (the 2 collectibles are hard to spot) but the main game is apparently less than 3 hours and the bonus chapter is only about 45 minutes. Had I needed one more CE I would have chosen Feline Sight but with only wanting to get Forgotten Kingdoms (with some fun extras and hard-to-spot collectibles, which you actually collect for a reason and not just for an achievement) I decided to get none.
So I only ended up getting the one SE I needed to fill a punch card with a PCC. I got Runaway Express Mystery, which I loved right from the start, even though it was a straight SE with no extras. It was so much more my cup of tea that those 2 CEs that I didn't even want to keep playing.
I still feel like crap and it's been really hot today, which sure hasn't helped, so that might have affected my views of those 2 CEs but I still liked Forgotten Kingdoms and Runaway Express Mystery, so I think I simply don't like those CEs, although everyone else seems to have loved them.

It's hard to pay attention when you're not feeling well, that's when I try to find a short, easy game, or solitaire is good. It's cool and dreary here, I'm outside of Portland Maine. High of 59F with a damp sea breeze. Most of the rest of the carnival went to play a spot with a different carnival, usually our two spots overlap but some years they don't. I decided to skip it, I didn't find out I could go until last minute and I just wasn't prepared. They open at 9am and close at 11pm for 8 days, my van with my stock would have been very far away and I would have had to order more stock. Now that the weather is so yucky I'm really, really glad I'm not stuck outside in it for 14 hours a day. My rear end is starting to get sore from sitting around, though, so I hope it gets nicer soon and I can get outside for awhile. Don't think it's gonna happen, though, got some rain moving up the eastern seaboard. I did get power hooked back up to my game trailer so I can go sit in the lawn chair inside of it for a bit of a change. If I had my truck I'd go shopping, perfect day for it, but it's a pain rearranging everything in the van when I want to go somewhere and besides, I have a bunch of junk shoved under it so it won't get rained on. And if it's not raining here you still get a heavy fog/mist at night, everything is always damp.
I was playing Origins: Elders of Time PE. I went outside to make lunch, when I came back my laptop had shut down because it got too hot, I left it sitting on the electric blanket Now Origins seems like it's stuck in a 'loading' loop, I tried to start it twice, had to go to the task manager both times and even then I didn't have a cursor, after the third restart, I ain't trying it no more I'll have to delete and relo;ad when I get home.
So then I thought I'd try something different. Adelentado Book 1. My lord this is a boring game. You don't really get to do or figure anything out by yourself. I've done 2 chapters, they've mentioned upgrading your buildings but for the life of me I can't figure out how. I'm going to the forum when I leave here and see if I'm missing anything. I sure hope it gets better because I also have Book 2 and Book 3 I don't know why I feel such a need to stock up on anything and everything when there's a sale, it's not like there's never going to be another sale. My pantry and fridge look the same way. I use one can of peas a week, why do I need six of them sitting there taking up my shelf space

Don't mind me, I've just not had anybody to talk to in several days. I played a bit of a M3, The Enchanted Island, something like that. The tile swapping is totally clunky, you can only click, can't move a piece while stuff is going on, and the cursor hits the tile above the one I want quite a bit. And then they put spiders in there. What financially stupid sadist puts spiders in casual games? I've encountered them in two different games today. Mostly women play these types of games and women don't like spiders. Hell, men don't like spiders. The ones in that other M3 were in keeping with the theme of it, but there's no need for spiders in this one. It's kind of a cartoony spider but it bounces up and down and then runs around and I'm supposed to make a match under it. I don't want to go anywhere near it!
I did another scenario, maybe 2 in Adelantado. I'll probably keep playing it cause I can do it in short bursts. You can't save in the middle of a chapter but they're about a half hour so that works good for me. I do a chapter then play Love Chronicles then check a FTP, then here and FB, some M3, and do the rounds over again.
