Lily
I was trying for humor,  but not sarcasm.  We had just watched  "Amadeus."  and Mozart's marvelous  "Requiem"  is still in my head.

Mila,
I agree,   "Bolero"  would be perfect for hos.  It's one of my favorites.  Thanks for the suggestion.  So far,  I've only played the music in my head.

Tirama,
The music in games usually ends up being irritating in some way;  I rarely turn it on.  Also,  often listening to something else,  maybe a relaxtion cd.

All your warnings about the expense of higher levels has made me afraid to leave my beloved  Steam Mechanism.  Am I stuck in a loop?  I have 100,000 coins now.  Planning to hit 150,000,  unless I change my mind.

Music is a summer breeze
That lifts my wings
To worlds beyond cognition
Too bad we humans can't agree
On its definition

In my Berengaria game, I've reached a quest that costs 20,000 coins to craft the 4 things requested.

I work on HOS and my iq points are dropping but I have whole 7800 coins and need about 20000 to finish. Last 8 quest -not hard, but cost a lot, and I'm sorry that I can't craft something for you , but I'm going to have more time for game in next few days and than I make something and sent it  to you.

Re: Midnight Castle by Elephant Games

In my Tiramasue2 game, I have a friend who is qutting and giving away her inventory.  She only has 15 friends and I guess a lot of them are also quitting or want to do it all themselves, but she's sent me a crafted item for the last 8 days.  She has a second game and sent me an invite from that game and I've received 2 items from that game as well.

She did ask that, if we could spare it, we send her pet food so that she can try and get the gold chests achievement before she quits.  I've been sending unique pet food every day, a small price to pay for a crafted item, IMO, so maybe that's why I've gotten something every day.

I need 9,000 to open something in the Far Metro Station, and only have 4,000 coins, so I'll be doing the coin gathering dance for the next couple of days.

In my Berengaria game, I've reached the end of the quests listed n the Strategy GUide.  NOt sure which update that means I'm working on.  Still have about 100,000 coins in that game.

Re: Midnight Castle by Elephant Games

I've made it to level 40 and I'm working on the quest that needs 2 Star Light and 2 Ageless Guardians.  I have very little coins, so I'm going to be here for some time.

I'm rapidly spending my coins in the Berengaria game.  Hope I have enough to make it to the Tiara quest, which is 42 quests away.

Re: Midnight Castle by Elephant Games

Tirama,  I have enough Pet medallions to hatch the Seal egg;  Is it worth it, or should I wait till I can hatch the Squirrel or Panda?  Or none at all?  I have 36,000 coins;  thoughtt I might craft a few things for later before moving on.

Re: Midnight Castle by Elephant Games

Sandham - everybody's pets behave differently.  I had 150,000 coins, crafted the squirrel and then moved on.  I had good luck with the seal (silver chests) over by the binding egg the first couple of times.

I've read on the BF forums to try feeding pets in the newest areas you've opened.  Worked with my puppy.  Fed it immediately after opening theCraftsman District and got a gold chest.

Re: Midnight Castle by Elephant Games

I have 76 or 78 gold chests, I think it's important to time and place where you feed pets, as well as HOS, which are completed. for example: piggy loves salty- geronimo he is in the dungeon, and when you get to prison piggy brings gold. but I do HOS in the bar, then HOS by pirates, and HOS in the rock garden. Than I expect gold chest.
For turtle and phoenix same is valid. There are several areas where you should first finish the HOS, and then expect gold chest.
I'm still collecting coins,,,,,
