Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

So what do you do with a 2 story house?  I do have a plug-in fountain that I was planning to put in my wealth sector.   Oh carp!  My knowledge sector would be my attached garage -- which is majorly cluttered and needs cleaning!

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

lilyr...To answer your question use the bagua (9 section map)  on your floor plan on each level separately.  So your wealth area might be home office on first floor and a bedroom on second floor. My home has 2 rooms on second floor with a hallway connecting them.  So instead of doing the second floor as a whole I use the bagua (the 9 section map) in each individual room upstairs.  You can do the house as a whole and/or you can also do each room individually by standing in the doorway and dividing the room into 9 sections.  Which is perfect if one still lives with their parents or has roommates, one can just feng shui their bedroom.

I see Mayan Prophecies: Blood Moon SE came out today.  I didn't get it in the Elefun sale since it was still the CE version.  I like big cats so will be picking it up on monday.  Lions  & tigers are my favorite, but will take leopards, panthers & cheetahs too.  Which reminds me I need to demo the new Fierce Tales: Feline Sight game.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Thanks sunshinej.  The one thing I think I remember from reading about Feng Shui is that the bed should not be opposite the door.  If that's correct I have that right.

I haven't demo'd it either but that FIRECE TALES game looks good.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

lilyr...I was looking at my answer to you about the second floor and I don't think I answered you exactly what you were asking.  On a piece of paper write your room layout including rooms, closets, crawlspaces, staircases, hallways and whatever else is up there.  Now what section is the top of the stairs located.   I just did it and the top of my stairs is located in my fame section, but like i said you can also do each room individually.

That's correct about bed placement.  If the bed is in direct line with door, energy from hallway can come busting in on you disturbing your sleep,  Also it may cause your personal energy to drain out the door.  If this is the case the cures would be
1. Shut door while sleeping
2.  Have a high footboard at end of bed
3.  Some type of table or chest at end of bed to slow down the energy from hallway.
4.  Move bed to a more favorable spot in room.

I d/l Fierce Tales this morning and played about 15 minutes before I had to leave for work.  I haven't played the other two yet so can't compare it to those ones.  In 15 minutes saw 3 cats and 1 leopard and I think it may have a cat room in the extras.  Don't know what that is about yet.  Now if a man changes into a wolf he is called a werewolf, here a leopard changed into a man in the intro so we have a werecat maybe.  I don't know yet, but looking forward to finding out.  Now need to decide CE or SE.
I am playing The Fool  right now. What a great imagitive game.  Recommend this one.

I am currently playing Steve the Sheriff and The Great Unknown Houdini's Castle.  Both are quite good.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Hi All!
I have been without Internet for over 2 weeks    I was nearly climbing the walls

I have finished:
Fright CE. Very good.
Surface:Reel of Life CE. Liked it very much. but not CE worthy for me.
Off the Record: The Italian Affair CE. Loved it!
Sharpe Investigations-Death on the Seine. At least the graphics were good...

Regarding the other thread: my oldest unplayed game is Sherlock Holmes vs Jack the Ripper bought 10/04/12, but I doubt it will ever be finished

I have reached level 55 on FarmUp  and with the update got a lot of new quests.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Hi, Anki
Im partway through SH vs. JtR, but I gave up on it.  It's very hard.  It does have a nice built in strategy guide, though, so maybe someday.  I was really into Farm Up last year, and I've never cared for farming games much.  I ran out of things to do, found ART, then AK, and  haven't been back.     I loved my farm, it's so pretty.
Wealth                Fame              Relationships
Family                 Health             Children & Creativity
Knowledge          Career            Helpful People & Travel
I live in a trailer so it's only 12ft the one one direction so  my areas are all kinda mushed together.  My career is very close to my toilet, that can't be good at all, my fame is my hallway, so it's like a walk of fame, right?  Health is close to my bathroom sink and medicine chest so I have that right.
I loved The Fool, but didn't care for Steve the Sheriff.  I'm still replaying Awakening Skyward Castle.  Lots of minis and the HOs are very nice, good variety.  I've enjoyed them all.  I actually wish there were more HOs.  We're in a spot where they really freak out over the weather.  It lightninged off in the distance at 5:30 and they made us close down.  We never did get any rain, it was a bit breezy but it's been over 90 and horribly humid all day so I think people were wanting to get rained on.  At least it's quite a bit cooler now.  I expect we'll open up again soon, but it cost us a lot of money, running the people off, drats, it's just started to rain as I'm typing this.  Wonder if anybody will show up if we do open again.

No matter how much I complain, I'm grateful for all I have.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

Welcome back Anki!  Yikes!  At least you had some games downloaded.

Wendy -- so sorry about the weather and the cancel/don't cancel thing.  AK Made a lot more sense to me after I played SKYWARD CASTLE.

Re: Finish your games challenge - 2014

I just got back from this local film festival type thing. Hubby and I decided to see the Late Night Shorts starting at 10pm since we are night people and what a riot it was! Some were scary n strange while others were down right hilarious. We went out to dinner first and made it a date night and we sooo needed out of the house. Until this visa crap is finished like the adjustment of status which we got a return for evidence or his job authorization thing, he cant work and we are still living with my parents. My dad is chill but my mom just had to retire because her shoulder never really healed correctly. She's one of those restless people that always has to be doing something and since she can't she's making us ALL nuts. So a night out was LOVELY.

Australian bacon isn't like Canadian bacon because its not hammy tasting but its almost like a bacon pork chop. The "tail" is similar to our bacon but theres an actual meaty, pork chop thing on it and its damn good. Google images of Gammon Bacon...no wonder he thought ours was ridiculous haha

I am playing Awakening Sunhook Spire CE and wow what a game! The helpers don't bother me because they have always been apart of this series and its what makes this series so special. I beta'd the game that came out yesterday, Labyrinths of the World...only it was called "Cursed Castle" when I demoed it, not Shattered soul like now. I noted a sort of steam punk theme but couldn't decide if I liked it or not..However, after demoing it, the developers seemed to have taken it to a place I didn't quite enjoy. Guess I will save money again this weekend. Too bad as it had great potential...
